I realized today that it’s been 10 years since I started this site. In these 10 years, I may have missed a total of about about 10 Arsenal games, and they were due to big events or exceptional circumstances – getting married, having my first child, having a second one, a vacation where I couldn’t get internet, etc.

What started off as a casual way of following the team has had a big impact on life. I’ve regularly taken vacation days off work to watch midweek games, have skipped many a social event on the weekend, planned my kids’ activities around the Arsenal schedule, and offloaded a ton of things I probably should be doing.

Next year, I’m planning on going back to school and getting an MBA from Rotman, and since classes are every other Saturday, I’m probably going to miss a bunch of games, though I will try to sneak the laptop in where I can. Of course, I haven’t yet figured out how to pay for school (ahem, if you’re a millionaire, help me out) so the whole thing just might not even happen, sadly.

In covering games, there are some moments that stand out for me for whatever reason. If you go into the archives you’ll probably find clips for these (unless they’ve been taken down):

Happiest Moment: Rosicky’s goal in the second minute at Tottenham is one of my favorite Arsenal clips ever.

Worst Moment: Koscielny and Szczesny mix-up in the Carling Cup final.

WTF Moment: Fabianksi’s game at Wigan where he was conceding everything.

Angriest Moment: Tackle on Eduardo – really felt he would’ve been a world class player if he hadn’t gotten injured.

Heartbreaker Moment: Losing to Liverpool in the Champions League after we gave up a needless penalty right after Walcott had setup Adebayor to score.

Aww Moment: Arsene Wenger putting his head in Pat Rice’s lap when Newcastle almost made it 1-1 but for Gibbs block to secure Champions League.

Most Disappointing Moment: Losing to Barcelona in the Champions League final, specifically, Thierry Henry not finishing that great chance in front of goal.

I’d like to thank the following people:

@arseblog: For always linking to the goal videos and raising awareness of the site.

YouTubers like @TouchOfOzil, @Arsenal_Editor, @_BardaHD_, @ArsenalFC_Daily and others who produce the best Arsenal videos.

@DJTayo for mentioning the site on the Tuesday Club, that was pretty cool.
