    come on arsenal

  • Sufian

Another big team beaten, aand Dortmund no longer a big team. Come on you trolls! 😀
Players are grinding out results and that’s very positive. Now thrashing ManU is next thing in our todo list. Lets do that in style. 😉

We love Arsenal’s expansive, entertaining football but Dortmund didn’t let us play it. So we dug in and won with a slightly scruffy goal. There will be times when we have to win like this, and I don’t think we would have a year ago. That seems to be the difference this season!

    1-Nil to the ARSENAL!

  • Sufian

Yeah but not boring like the infamous scoreline suggests 😀

  • Aiden Keenan

That was intense near the end. fair play to the team, not an easy place to get a result. arteta was great & kept lewandoski quiet, rosicky had a good game as did ozil & ramsey is in the form of his life, its about time he scored a scrappy goal. the man utd game will make it 3 big games in a week & I hope travelling to Germany & back as well as playin pool & dortmund doesn’t affect the team, but I genuinely think united will be fearful of playing arsenal. control the midfield and the points are in the bag

another win, another clean sheet…. And top of the table.
    Keep it up, Arsenal!

How amazing is the guy who takes care of this site?

He post them during the match sometimes the minute after the incident:

Great result, but in all fairness we didn’t play our usual free flowing footie. Prrhaps the importantce of this match didn’t allow players too much freedom. Next sunday will be a big game, would love to turn them-suckers over! COYG

…great victory for Arsenal, well done to the team and the manager. Now to the real test on Sunday against ManU where they will be playing against the team, the referee and 99% of pundits in England who just hate Arsenal.

There is also Moyes who almost ruined Theo’s career the last time Everton played Arsenal on 16 April 2013. In that game Darron Gibson had a rugby style challenge on Theo Walcott go unpunished by the referee.

ManU will be extremely physical, the referee will not punish them; divers like Welbeck, Ashley Young and Rooney will seek for penalties at every opportunity. The atmosphere will be devilishly hostile.

I hope Arsene will be intelligent enough to counter the dark atmosphere the team will encounter. I hope the players will be smart enough not to get caught out and not to lose their temper / discipline.

We didn’t play the Arsenal brand of football because we needed to grind out the result. This was what we lacked for a good number of seasons now. The team has matured and now is the time when we win something, beautiful or ugly doesn’t really matter.

    Why was my post “disappeared”?

Here’s Sky’s highlights. It’s at the start of “part 2”:
