Just wanted to thank you for your work this season. No idea how you do it but I really appreciate it. You, Arseblog and Goonerholic kept me sane this season, so credit where it is due! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for all the work you do Arsenalist. If anyone is looking for a good site for news and a good blog with some video highlights from time to time I just discovered Arseblog and the work they do for Gooners is also brilliant. Thank you again Arsenalist for everything! Canada represent!
We don’t need Batman, we’ve Robin!
Robin to our rescue. I wish that the stupid board listens to him and bring in players who help him get triphies to this club, which Robin thoroughly deserves.
We have not Robin for long. All his recent comments and actions indicate desire to transfer, and most of those interested can undoubtedly pay far more than the 130k being offered by the board. If reports of City making him their highest earner is true, with double the pay (or more), I can’t see anyone turning it down.
Put yourself in RVP shoes, this is his best season and he isn’t getting younger and he will not score 30 plus goals again . This probably will be his last contract and a chance to extract as much money as possible for his future and secure financial security during a very bad economic down turn in Europe. Loyalty does not buy you food nor does it guarantee financial security for the family and future. He is extremely lucky not getting injured during the season. Arsenal should sell him if he doesn’t want to stay , sell for 20 million plus Benzema to Real..
@Gnostradamus, you probably did not read the article. RVP wants to win trophies with Arsenal, not just play in CL with Arsenal. I think a player of his quality deserves assurances from the club that they are serious about more than just playing for CL spot. I won’t blame RVP if he leaves, rather I’d blame Wenger and the board. Even with half of the funds he has, he can bring in quality players, but well he wants to give his youth side chances. I don’t think it’s bad but he should buy players (maybe on shorter contract?) to win trophies (to keep big name players like RVP in his side).
I fear good number of Arsenal fans are happy with CL spot and listening to old comment “we will be stronger next season”. It has to stop, and I reckon Wenger still remains the right man, but this board? I’m not too sure.

you will be under the shadow of CHELSEA, DON’T WORRY YOU ARE 2ND BEST, BUT LONDON IS BLUE, WE MADE HISTORY TONIGHT, WE DOMINATED YOU IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE ERA, YOU GOT JUST 3 OF THEM THE OTHERS ARE FROM CHAMPIONSHIP. WE HAVE THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT BUT CHELSEA IS THE BEST
Chelsea fan should be very afraid for the future the owner isn’t going to be around forever once Roman decided he no longer interested or if he dies then Chelsea will be in deep trouble. Same goes to Man City..
@Gnostradamus, if he’s going for lack of investment and Arsenal are ready to invest, where is the problem? Why make Robin a scapegoat for stupidity of Arsenal board? Every player wants to win trophies, and seriously I don’t see Arsenal competing for it strongly.
To win trophies, you have to have good number of stars in ur squad which we don’t have. We don’t have 4th CB, no backup for Song yet, just acquired a backup for RVP (goal scorer), 2nd choice GK wants out. I’m even unsure if Walcott and Chamberlain are enough to be the only speedy wingers in the squad, since we get lots of injuries with poor tackles. Robin has been here for 8 years and knows that with current squad there is no guarantee that Arsenal will be able to compete with the best next season.
Arsenal were died long ago when David Dein left. this american owners don’t even care as long as the make profits. i can’t see them buying class players, i can’t see us winning. I hope Robin leaves us, because it is time to CHANGE. we need a CHANGE.
if wenger fail to buy this summer then why can’t all arsenal fans stop going in the staduim, to make the owners less profit, just like they did on december last year.
@GUNNER, He will, if we don’t make sufficient acquisitions. However I do think if we purge couple of players, namely Almunia, Squillaci, Djourou, etc, we can sign quality players (to persuade RVP to commit his future) and it would be perfect. But I guess it depends mainly if clubs wish to buy these players (Djourou is the best among the 3, tbh)
@chelsea, if you are a chelsea fan, why are you even here??
isn’t this site for gooners
now that i think about it @chelsea, has chelsea ever had 49 unbeaten games? hmmmmm, wonder which team did that remarkable run? and did chelsea win 13 premiere league titles hmmmmmm?

If Mancity wants him , sell for 40 million and get Giroud from Montpellier .

we won the championsleague, R.V.P will be ours, he will want to win the champions league, you just play in it but we win it
Sufian, you obviously haven’t seen my posts. I said back in fall Robin’s going because of lack of investment.
