Well, any eternal optimists out there, this is unfortunately evidence to the contrary. We’ve just handed the CL to Spurs. I don’t blame the team. I knew once the likes of Arteta and Walcott got injured that we wouldn’t win games. We’ve never this season without Arteta; the midfield’s too depleted and without enough inspirational stars.

Ramsey was shit , he is not good enough for arsenal , Norwich deserved the point , they could have been 3 or 4 up in the first half. Kos was immense in defense , looks like fourth for arsenal..
we should have scored….and won this game. We weren’t clinical enough on our finishing towards the end. As much as I love RVP….and I think he is the best player on the team…. he kinda sold us out on the last attempt he had on goal from AOC’s cross… when gervinho missed and rvp just had to tap it in but he slightly got pushed from the back… I felt he didn’t get pushed hard enough so he should have scored…
If you watched the game, then you would know what I’m talking about. All he had to do was stick a leg out to tap it while getting pushed….

Fucking ref and linesman they swallowed a 100% clear penalty, fucking bastards. Refs are fucking racists with Arsenal, thats clear for years now.
Referee had a bad day at the office but the mistakes even up , they should have given a penalty against kos, a second yellow and a red to Ramsey. 2 penalties for arsenal in the second half, one for a handball and the other the push against RVP..no point blaming the ref , arsenal played badly and threw away the chance to finish third , overall this season , arsenal scarcely deserve to finish top four IMHO.
Can’t blame entirely on the defense, the weak link is in the midfield, song and ramsey is a disaster waiting to happen. Both gave away the ball cheaply..the equalizer by Norwich, song just passed the ball to a Norwich player and the rest was history..no doubt Arsene will blame the match officials but the real reason was the player seemed to lack the defensive mentality..and Scezney was a disaster waiting to happen should have saved the first goal and the 3 rd goal ..
Clearly the last few weeks have been a struggle without Arteta. With him we control possession and make life easier for the back four. Without him teams get too many 2v2 or 3v3 chances on us. People keep saying we need more fire power up front or more steel in the back, but honestly we haven’t had enough midfield cover will wilshere down and ramsey being shit.

What is it about the CL spot ? Arsenal been in the CL since Arsene took over , but never won it. Maybe its time for Arsenal to take a break from European games and instead concentrate on the domestic league and cups …When Arsenal cant win home games when it mattered then they dont deserve CL ..simple as that..

The truth hurts, but the stats don’t lie, arsenal lacks defensive and winning mentality, the players seemed to give 100% when playing against big teams but against teams who played with passion and aggressive they went AWOL. Arsenal may still make it to 4th spot but if players like Ramsey dont step up , more of the same in store next season..
TO be honest, this whole thing about winning mentality is just stupid. LOOK AT THE STATS! FROM FIRST HALF AND THEN SECOND HALF. NORWICH WERE DOMINATING US the first half and the Second half we got back our spirit and powered our way to 2 goals!

Aston villa is in danger of relegation , their next game after spurs is against Norwich away, so they must get at least a draw. Man city simply must win against the magpies and new castle next game is against in form everton away. Let’s hope MacLeish men can pull off a win against spurs highly unlikely though.

RVP is completely different type of striker to TH , RVP needs good assist to score spectacular goals, most of which comes from Alex Song and Walcott ..TH can create goal out of nothing due to his blistering pace and skill..but both are brilliant..now hopefully Podoski will add another dimension, shooting from outside the penalty box, Miyachi looking like a good provider for the strikers. Seriously our defence still looks shaky especially when facing set piece or long ball over the top. Djorou not good enough ..

Vertonghen knows if he comes to Arsenal he’s fighting with Mertesacker, Koscielny and TV for CB spot. He is most likely not going to start a lot of games.
Another thing is, as much as I want Vertonghen come to Arsenal… Its kinda silly for Arsenal to spend on another CB when we have 4 CB’s plus Miguel and Bartley whose on a loan with Rangers coming back.
