Woo! Walcott makes it two and we’re on our way!
3rd place to be cemented
oh you beautiful thing… i love u arsenalist… i really do…
What a pity for RvP! But what a save from Warnock… Great first half! Don’t relax!
i hope vanpersie scores one goal and gervinho one in the secound halv. other wise everybody is playing well and get well soon koscielny.
will u please upload RVP’s showboat?
Arteta goal was great!
I feared the formula: Phil Dawad + Djourou = a penalty, but Djourou was great and solid.
Can you upload the part where van Persie show boats on the side against Collins and the crowd cheered?
Thanks!
This ref. is generous to all teams except Arsenal, just recall New Castle game and the soft penalties against us. So I don“t wonder why no whistle to the credit of AOC ?
It was a clear penalty against AOC. Even the player seemed surprised not to be punished for his foul! Alex would have been awarded for his great and solitary run…
However, we don’t care, but RvP was poor for once. Credit to Mikel Arteta, certainly the man of the match, with his magnificent bullet shoot, which achieved a flawless performance.
Arsenal march on!
spuds are going down
KING OF LONDON!!
For those of you rubbishing the ref for not giving AOC a penalty, if you look at the relevant link kindly provided by Arsenalist, you will see that in fact it was not a penalty but a very good tackle by Ireland, who got the ball first. AOC was surprised by the decision because he thought Ireland didn’t get the ball but the slow mo replay shows that Ireland did.
DKX99, I agree. After seeing the scene again, I have noticed that Ireland managed to touch the ball. Difficult to assess though, without slow motion and without the proper angle.
Phoenyx, it was difficult to assess without and it is quite amazing that the ref managed to spot it. Initially I was screaming my head off for a penalty but the ref made a correct decision in the end. Lets give him the benefit of the doubt and move on.
The way the rule works is if the player gets the ball first then its clean, BUT that rule only extends to a certain limit because in some situations defenders can actually get the player and then the ball and make it look like the ball was hit first b4 the player went down.
EX. .. Arsenal vs ManU champions league Semi final couple of years ago when Fabregas went down to a Fletcher Challenge in the box. Clear penalty even though the ball was slightly hit first.
just want to pop in and say thanks for uploading the downloadable goals. I missed the file from the Everton game and was assuming it got taken down already. I’m gonna try to do an Arsenal goals compilation at some point and was wondering if it would be possible for you to e-mail it to me, Arsenalist.
Thanks either way, you’re awesome for getting the videos up so quick after the match. This is the first place I come to for my Arsenal highlights!
woooow the players are really playing with passion these last games!!! the way they’re playing is incredible… where was this kind of passion at the beginning of the season??? 3rd place nearly ours!!!
but the penalty was not to be given… it was very difficult to spot, but it wasn’t….
I think that earlier in the season this side was still knitting together, and then we had problems with injured fullbacks, but now we’ve got a real team spirit.
Brilliant performance by all 11, just Scezney need to practice kicking the ball up into the other end instead of passing it to the defender and brings pressure and possible mistake especially early and late stage of the game when Lack of concentration and fatigue can result in mistakes.
Hey Arsenalist, do you have the clip of RvP skills in the second half where he justs pips the ball with his foot?
I love you aresenalist! Truly appropriate what you do!
*appreciate
hope arsenal wins the next match
keep it up arsenal
don’t let your concentration down
do you guys think we could make a dramatic finish at the end of the season and get 1st place?
@gooner, haha! Well it is mathematically possible but the probability of that happen is very slim! As it stands (assuming united win), united is 14 points clear of us! We have 8 games remaining, so let’s assume we win all 8 i.e. We get 24 points! That means united need a maximum of 10 points (to beat us on goal difference), so that will be something like 7 draws and 1 win! Highly unlikely that they will go have that bad a patch! The same counts of man city! The probability of that happen to both teams are very slim… But we can all dream:)
On the race for 3rd, if we win all 8 games we keep 3rd! We can lose one game and win 7 and probably beat spurs on goal difference! So the task is simple! Win week in week out and wait for the spuds to slip up!

brilliant goals & great all round display from the whole team. id like to see rvp score week in week out (the touch to get it from one foot to the other & the snap shot was worthy of a goal) but its nice when the rest of the team chip in with a few, so pleased gibbs got one & artetas cannonball, all i can say is wow that alex song can sure find a pass or two, wot a gem. to think if we didnt have such a nightmare start to the season with injuries we may have been in contention for the league but it gives us hope for next yr. thanks for the upload arsenalist you sir are a gooner legend, didnt get to see MOTD as i was out on the town but i did run into an old buddy who is a spuds fan & i had a very entertaining night rippin the piss outta him & i didnt win a arsenal football signed by charlie george which im still ripping about. so thanks again arsenalist. GOONER FOR LIFE
i just realized that if we won all of our remaining fixtures,
that wed end up with 83 points which can possibly see us win the league
if the other teams mess up a bit..*sighs* wishful thinking
@BajeGooner I hope that’s the way the players are looking at it.
guys guys now i know how barcelona fans feel
winning every game
i am not even nervous now before the game, i just know we are going to win
Come on Arsenal!
wishing for a miracle that we win the league
keep wishing gooners
