Everytime i see the pre game press conference on Arsenalist. We win!!! U rock arsenalist… I am here mostly to relive the glorious moments and for post and pre game stuff… With chelsea losing today we can put some distance between us and them for CL finish and hopefully tomorrow we gain some ground on totenham FC
I saw the selection of Liverpool and I said I ´d bet all I have for Arsenal win, Piercing, Adam, and such fuck compared to our brilliant Midfilder, the cunt Suarez and we had RvP. I got very frustrated to see Liverpool dominating the game. The reasons were our incompleted passes in the midfield, they caused many trouble on our right wing because Ben Ayoune looked today very exhausted. Wallcot was immediately surrounded by two or three. They had a great focus on him today which in a way released RvP. They had much of the game, but I couldn´t care less and I think a deserve win considering the diving of the cunt and our own goal. I always hated Liverpool and I hated them more after the racial issue and I hope they will relegate.
On the level of play, it should’ve been a draw. But, considering how many times we’ve dropped points even though we played better (I’m looking at you, Bolton) it was about time something like this happened.
Good thing Chelsea messed up, too.

I agree, I kinda understand when you say liverpool deserved something out of that game but to say “Arsenal didn’t deserve to win is dumb. Seriously how many times have Arsenal dominated games and end up having a draw or a loss, even against big clubs. Its not about who deserves to win, its about WHO DOES WIN! clearly Arsenal has taken that quote the hard way in the past years so I believe Arsenal are finally getting what they deserve. They scored their shots and Liverpool didn’t. Liverpool didn’t even score one by themselves lol… it was thanks to Kosc own goal.
We defended particulary well in the second half. Gibbs had a very nice game as well. Im starting to think hes a better choice than santos? Atleast we have competition at LB now.
Alex song > Fabregas? Anyway, ugly games win you points. How many times have we been denied cups and titles because of goals against the run of play (carling cup final?)

The way we defended against the corners was amazing. Without Andy Carrol as the target man, reduced the burden on our defenders..Diaby was superb and has immediate effect on the midfield same goes for Gervinho his trickiness and work rate created problems for their defender and allows Van Persie more freedom. Hope Arteta recovers soon ..

Frankly, it could have been easily 4-0 for Liverpool; we were awful in defense. So, let’s not boast about this victory, but in our position, points are just what we need.

One was sublime, the other sucked. Sczny is incredible!
Quite concerned about our midfield’s performance, we gave the ball away far too much imo. Walcott, Benayoun and Song have got to retain that ball better! I think we need two wingers at all times to spread the play, Benayoun is not a good wide midfielder and if the transfer rumours are true i’m quite happy to pick up a winger/striker!
But i digress, we’ve won quite a few games at the death this season the resilience is caused by our Keeper and defence keeping us in the game!
I do hope Wenger does get a shakeup though, we can’t be content with a top four finish this summer, GOTTA KEEP VAN PERSIE AND WE GOTTA BUILD UP NOT DOWN!
All the other CL spot contenders dropped points this weekend. Very good luck for a change, but yes, this was an incredibly lucky win. Probably had something to do with Liverpool having played a long cup final. Whatever it was, we can’t rely on others’ profligacy all the time.
If Arsenal are going to push on and win something next season, we need to steal points from games like this. Well we made a start and let’s hope it happens more often.
A win is a win is a win …we won ugly yet got people on this tread complaining ..when we play beautiful football yet ended in a draw or lost ..the same people say we are not ruthless in front of goal, the Liverpool game showed we can be ruthless , two chances for RVP and two goals..
I rather take this win than being like Liverpool – a team wasted so many opportunities, just like the Arsenal team last couple years.
Did anyone noticed how biased MOTD’s live commentator was? Not only did he insist Suarez was tripped, at 9:08 he said “there was not a lot in it” when Martin Kelly clearly wrestled Gibbs to the ground from behind.

Has anyone who actually watched the games instead of the highlights noticed in a lot of games this season the commentators are really biased against arsenal, not just for penalty calls but also challenges… I’m not being biased myself to show the whole world is against arsenal or anything but equally has anyone noticed that???
Arsenal 3-0 up against Milan, I’m still nervous. Lets hope two teams play the same way as they did in first half. I suspect Milan to go a little more defensive, but I won’t like it to happen.
