  37. Jellykid says:

ALL YOU FAGGOTS STILL HATING SHOULD JUST LEAVE, that faggot MOFAZ should shut the fuck up next to say arsenal will lose 4-0!…

All you haters feeling it up your ass knowing how arsenal came back and beat them by 3 goals.

First goal was unlucky deflection w/e… second goal was PURE FUCKING DIVE!!!

  38. grumpyoddman says:

@mofaz : got your answer? a game isn’t end before the ref blows the final whistle.

I think Arsenal deserve the win today, because they played consistently despite of having two goals behind. But I still confuse, they were very well on the sideway, yet some kind of ‘ignored’ the middle part (back and midfield). There’s a big ‘hole’ in there. And one thing, I hope Wenger will not to put Ramsey in starting line up for a while. He still needs time to develop better, meanwhile the team need a rush to secure the UCL position.

  39. rahul says:

its true its gud team…but wenger need 2-3 gud exp players to win cl.

  40. gooner says:

    YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. Vic from Russia says:

do not pay attention today`s Assenal game, players are under shock becouse of Arshavin and others has set to double team.

    so they ran like mads…

next game will be as usually – fail…

  42. Sufian says:

Have Walcott, Wenger and Rosicky silenced the ranters yet? No, they will continue to whine.
Sometimes I too am disappointed with players and manager but everyone has ups and downs, take any fair player (Rooney and Ronaldo aren’t, because they dive).

Lets hope Wenger doesn’t reads too much into the scoreline and makes necessary changed so we can stay like this for 1 whole season.

Thanks Arsenalist, I missed almost all of the 2nd half but these goals’ videos did the trick. :)

  43. anticheat says:

it should have been mike dean and Gareth bale

    cheating cunts

  44. Vic from Russia says:

    sorry…

next game will be as usually – COMPLETE fail…

  45. conner says:

Hey antiwenger- Your a cunt and I hope you enjoy eating your own words. Arsenal for life you spuds supporting faggot

  46. conner says:

    You’re*

  47. mofaz says:

Well done Theo..but still need to show more consistency and repeat that kind of performance against AC Milan..MOTM must be Rosicky and Koscielny..notice without Ramsey we can win ..Yossi and Rosicky experienced players we need them now..

  48. conner says:

Suck a dick Vic, no one cares about your shitty, half assed and biased thoughts. Be happy about today if you actually are a Gooner

  49. dubbledubs71 says:

when we have been in a league challenging position it was them maggots that put the boot in, so its nice to get some payback at last

  50. conner says:

I do agree with you Mofaz, I will not be sold on Theo until he can consistently preform, and most of the time he follows a good game like this with 8 or so duds, but I am very pleased with the guys performance against this shit shit shit club

  51. gooner india says:

This game just made by week. I dont want to get into any debate about wht needs to be done or not. Fuck yaa.

    Rosicky!!!!

    Thank you arsenalist

  52. Vic from Russia says:

    2 conner

I am a real Gooner, but I`m a realist too.
Wenger gave too heavy medcine to team.
    It gives short-time effect, but later… in long-time view…bad.

  53. Gunner4Ever says:

you dont say anything until the final whistle blow.we manage to get back in front after spurs lead by two. same thing happen before with chelsea. looking forward for AC milan game.

  54. Koolio says:

It really is disgusting sometimes how you guys dismantle the team. Arsenal fans really are the most bipolar out of all football fans. Yes, you are right, there is a place for oppinion, but completely tearing the player apart? I see people wanting Rosicky out, are you kidding me? Hes miles ahead of Ramsey, his drive from midfield makes a lot of our plays, but people never listen. Im sure many of you will praise Walcott as man of the match, even when he was our worst player. Start picking a side and stick with it.

  55. Big Dave says:

Let’s just enjoy today! Trophies, European competition is great, but the bread and butter for all football fans, is days like this one, stuffing your rivals.

    Smiles on faces lads!

  56. Jellykid says:

I always knew Spuds are trash, its not even the fact I hate them, they never were better than Arsenal to begin with. Lets be real about one thing with our UPS and DOWNS and our current inconsistent starting 11 we still owned them. Modric is extremely Overrated!!…. Arteta isn’t amazing or anything but he bossed modric around like nothing at times lol…Bale is forever overly hyped because when you get a top rated Fullback on him he can’t do shit! Maicon was never a great defensive RB( WE ALL KNOW THAT HE WAS KNOWN FOR HIS ATTACKING)…Sagna kept him quiet! All bale did was dive! Adebayor is forever a clown on the field who we just can’t stand looking at. Clearly Scott Parker was negated because of the arsenal midfield and if walker thought he covered the wing when he didn’t realize Benayoun was on the wing… and he isn’t even a winger. Arsenal outplayed them in the midfield from the ending of the first half towards the whole second half. Ledley King can take arrows to the knees and whine all he wants but in the end “HE COULDN’T STOP ROSICKY!! VanDURVAART Can stay on the bench or on the field for all i care, If you watched the game Alex SONG OWNED HIM right b4 he assisted walcott for the 5th goal!

What made me pissed is how fat blart Redknapp talks about being top club in London when the fool hasn’t even won the league yet or hit first ever in his life in the league lol… Win the League in London then talk, just becuz your having one lucky ass season doesn’t mean you own london?!! …LOL wtf..

  57. Jeff says:

Show us the clip where Fridel and his defender staring straight intoeach other after Rosicky score the 3rd goal

  58. a.k.a gunner says:

That should keep down the Walcott critics down for some time… Great to see him have a good game. Hope Arshavin finds his form back in Russia & returns at his prime.

Even at 2-0 down, I ‘ll always knew that we would come back. Derby match isn’t like any other match.

Adebayor is a clown. Never liked him & bendtner even when they were at Arsenal.

Finally after a very long time, a real win to be happy about.

    Cheers!

  59. Arschloch says:

    @Mofaz
still rant and rave about Theo ?

  60. DanD says:

you doubt arsenal and arsene wenger at your peril!
there are too many knee-jerk reactions to the gunners recent woes – even at the beginning of this thread some guys were asking for wengers head and criticised walcott and his ability.
clearly the squad needs to improve, with players like cesc and nasri having left and wilshere not even featuring yet this season. but anyone who knows anything about football must agree that wenger is the only manager capable of having arsenal were they are – in 4th spot. the budget has been comparable to stoke, but still arsenal compete at the top. if they do decide to spend money in the summer, it will be a welcome relief but things could also change as other clubs spend less (UEFA financial fair play). either way, with the quality of arsene wenger, the glory days can return. people must support who imo is the best manager in the world, arsene wenger. imagine what he can do if they are on a financial equal footing with the rest!

  61. budski says:

rosicky sagna rvp. who to choose as motm… i wish i could vote for all three

  62. Jellykid says:

If anyone watched the game, remember when RVP out dribbles 4 spurs players in the midfield. It was in the second half after we scored our 5th goal.

  63. 11 Guns says:

    @Mofaz, @antiwenger

    facepalm!!!

  64. robin says:

please post the full game if possible!

  65. Ashwin says:

    Awesome win!

But, *whispers softly* it still papers over some ridiculous cracks in our system.

    1) we defend like a bunch of smurfs playing hide-and-seek.

    2) we haven’t scored an “Arsenal”-brand goal for over 3 games now.

  66. mofaz says:

Wooa there back to Earth.. , Arsenal has not secure 4th place yet, Spurs is still above in the table, the defense still leaks periodically and Van Persie is still the only consistent source of goal.. And no trophy again this season ..but then again always nice to smash the spunkin ..the look on those spurs faces from excitement to despair ..priceless..

  67. Ofebs says:

thank you arsenal for making my day – smashing spurs after all their trash talk is so refreshing, its indeed a lovely day…

I can’t stop dancing to ‘Lovely Day’ by Soul System…
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlizWgKA7LU

  68. DKX99 says:

Good performance today. Just looking at Parker’s dismissal video made me realise that there are so few proper humans left in the sport. As soon as Parker made contact with Vermaelen’s foot, he realised it was a bad tackle and I thought that his concern was genuine and not trying to appease the referee since he was already on a yellow card. Parker has had his fair share of knocks (Suarez stomach kick, Balotelli stamp) but he has always reacted in a professional way. Football needs more people like him.

  69. Saad says:

After the lucky goal and the bloody dive Tottenham deserved to be drubbed.. and they were. Glad to see the resounding win and hopefully we can carry this form to the Liverpool game. Fourth better be ours.

  70. emman says:

Gather children and listen to the story of how Bacary Sagna saved St. Totteringham Day. It was a cold February day and The Arsenal were 0-2 to the Sp*rs, after some poor defending and the wicked Bale dove over the keeper and the evil Adebayor scored the penalty. All hope seemed to be lost. Out of the Champions League, out of the FA cup and losing in the Derby. Would there be any St. Totteringham’s Day? Would Gunnersaurus be able to bring cheer to the good gooner boys and girls? Bacary Sagna thought yes, there should be, and I will save the day. This came after only recently recovering from a broken leg suffered at the Sp*rs’ crap ground. So with only a few minutes remaining in the half he made a run into the box and made a bullet header into the back of the net. Robin van Persie saw this and decided that he do wanted to help the good gooner boys and girls and help Sagna save the day and mere minutes later he blasted the ball into goal. Then it was halftime, and Sagna said, let us not play for ourselves but for all the good gooners out there and save this special day. And after the restart they did this. Sagna raced down the right crossed into the box and Tomas turned the ball into the net. After that he knew that St. Totteringham’s day was saved and that the team was full of holiday spirit. Even Theo got two goals. And on defence he made sure Gareth Bale profited no longer from his wickedness and in the end Bale got nothing more than his just reward which was some mouldy pasta. When the game was over, Sagna went over to Friedel the very bald and said that his holiday wish was that Friedel could grow some hair like his and be awesome and not be another keeper made crap by being on the Sp*rs. Actually he never said that. He just said you’re crap and your team is crap.

Which is to say Bacary Sagna is my man of the match.

  71. Disappointed says:

    Great Character!!!

Now, be CONSISTENT and not a one off show.

Worried that this may blind Wenger for another few months and not bring in quality players…

  72. Jellykid says:

To be honest, our back four isn’t bad at all. In the first 3-4 minutes Gibbs didn’t track back leaving Saha to stroll down the middle leaving vermaelen to trail him alone but it was a lucky deflection which gave them a goal.

There were no cracks in our defense that would make you think wow our defending is horrible…unless your dillusional, if you seen the game then you would realize Arsenal were just purely attacking after the first goal and tottenham just parked the bus and stood in their half and waited for the break. Arsenal were opened up once more with bale, but the cunt clearly DIVED and spuds got the penatly. AFTER THAT!!!

Arsenal attacked more and this time when the spuds broke on counter attacks Arsenal’s back four reacted much better. Arsenal weren’t playing “steady our half then break to attack” like tottenham were doing.

Our back four was amazing in the second half. as much as Gibbs slowly getting back to form, but our Cb’s dominated the strikers and Sagna kept bale quiet pretty much.

@mofaz YES we are back to earth where Arsenal dominates and will dominate future games. Defense is leaky..???, look at Manu, fuck look Chelsea.. they’ve spent so much money on defenders yet concieding goals…this season so STFU! CHELSEA CONCIEDED 5 GOALS from US in ONE game!! and they’ve spent a fortune on their defenders lol..

In football anything can happen especially in this derby, If you want a well controlled defense then you must have a limited attacking ability in football or you can just break on counters while parking the bus in your half. Arsenal are known to play their attacking style. They don’t ever. I MEAN EVER park the bus in their half except when they faced Barca.

In the end Arsenal’s defense was amazing, and I always wanted to see Vermalaen and Koscielny partner up again.

  73. Jellykid says:

    @dissapointed

What you mean blind, Clearly He isn’t a modern day manager… he’s been doing this for a WHILE!!… He did go undefeated in the EPL..

I like his perspective on things and how it works, He didn’t spend because he understands the space in our squad already. You must sell to make space in the squad so whats the point in buying quality players. What is a quality player seriously??… USE YOUR HEAD AND THINK REALLY HARD…

It seems you don’t care about how arsenal win but you just want your quality players playing for Arsenal by next season lol. We’re going to be a stronger squad next season and I don’t really think we need anyone to be honest.

It is true we might offload players like Squallici, bendtner, Vela, almunia and might get another forward but I highly doubt we’ll get a another CM because we have way too many.

By next season we will have a really good squad starting injury free and we can actually compete on a high level. and when palyers do get injured we have back up players breaking through the first team like AOC or other players.

I still believe Arsenal is a dominant team and will dominate again no matter how many losses or obstacles in the way.

  74. Jellydick says:

    @Jellykid – STFU

  75. Jellykid says:

your trash STFU go to some spurs blog, all you do is whine, you bitch more than a girl about this team lol

  76. Chris says:

Rosicky and Walcott have not been in the best form as of late but what a great time to get it together in a huge game for the Gunners. Sagna is coming back nicely too.

    LOVE BEATING THEM ASSHOLE SPURS!!!!!!!!!

  77. Aninda says:

Reading the comments at the beginning…. fuck you assholes.
concede a goal – wenger must go, why the fuck is rosicky playing, and what not
win the same fucking game – walcott we love you, wenger’s genius, and what not

fans like you make me feel real…. violent… and makes me feel like shutin all you up.. for good.

  78. MalaysianGunner says:

OldLady in Pink : OH MY GOD! (after Walcott’s 1st goal)

  79. Arschloch says:

I won´t be carried away with this result. We all know it a matter of honour and dignity whenever we play the spuds. Every player ran as if for his own life and I have a great doubt if it all was Wengers work. I guess he knew that time he had to be humble and leave it to others. Overall we saw many individual efforts. I think the Arshavin´s “offloading” made it clear also and opened the eyes of some careless players. Doubters and haters …I said always Rosiscky is a high classe player and “get off Walcott´s back “. Ramsey will be back and do well. Wenger must spend and get rid of the deadwood ” Squillachi, Almunia, Diaby. Denilson and the fucking arrogant Bendner to stay where they are. Specially Bendner not to show up in a radius of 100 Miles away from Emirates Stadium.

  80. kalone says:

wtf why are you guys even arguing about this shiet? It’s not like Wenger’s going to read your comments and think “oh, he’s absolutely right!” you guys should just enjoy this win like any other normal fan – with a pint and a lager.

  81. mofaz says:

Its not teams such as Spurs or Chelsea that’s causing us problems its the Fulham, Swansea, Sunderland etc small clubs with nasty pitch and hard tackling players and BNP supporters …

  82. male_ says:

Post match interview with RvP and Theo I just found on youtube:
    http://youtu.be/hXgOj_d5Ky8

  83. Arschloch says:

    @mofaz

Also, I guess no technical staff care for weaknesses of players. I was so happy to see Sagna improve the quality of his flanks and I think he probably worked himself hard like Coschinely on his tackle, but still look how marginal useful corners we had and for example Djourou´s awful tackles not improving since his own goal vs Chelsea, Walcott, Gervihno , Ramsey plentiful not completed inaccurate passes.
The indviduals must improve, team work ´s got much better .. at least what we saw in this game.

  84. reckless says:

I can´t resist but copy this comment from someone (sorry and thanks):

the worst arsenal side in 15 years just beat the best tottenham side in 50 years.

  85. Big Dave says:

I think, after all his injuries, we are finally seeing what Rosicky is capable of. Looking at the highlights, Alex Song is becoming more of a monster all the time, and I did like the Arteta-Song-Rosicky line-up in midfield. Gibbs was caught out for both goals I think, as the central defence were pulled to the right, he should have got to Saha for the first goal. Even so he’s just back from injury and improved as the game went on. You can see how a surge of confidence affects Walcott, and it’s up to supporters not to undermine that. From the moment he made the flicked pass for RVP to hit the post, he was transformed. It was nice to see Jenkinson come off the bench, we need Santos and Mertesacker back so that AW has the full choice of defenders to select, something that’s been sadly lacking this season.

  86. Jellykid says:

Imagine with santos playing, Arsenal’s attack would be beast!

  87. Martian says:

@Arshloch “Every player ran as if for his own life and I have a great doubt if it all was Wengers work. I guess he knew that time he had to be humble and leave it to others. Overall we saw many individual efforts.”

I partially disagree with your point there bro. I think Wenger got it right tactically. The choice of putting Benayoun is the evidence. I think it would have been a no-brainer to have started Gervinho since he is pretty much our starting left winger or even AOC cause Wenger chose him for the Man Utd game. Perhaps Gervinho needs sometime to recuperate still from African Nations Cup. All that plus putting a non-naturally winger in that position I think it was very clever of him. Of course I think it gelled well with others like Rosicky who is finding form and yes the energy of the most important game of the season contributed as well.

@JellyKid Hey bro, haters gonna hate anyway so you shouldn’t your breath on them and just chill out. I agree with you about our potential but our inconsistency are still clear for everyone to see. Like Nigel Winterburn said, if Arsenal can produce this type of performance, why can’t they do it week in week out? I just think our problem is consistency, and the burden of a horrible start to the season. So chill out bro! Lets go at it 1 game at a time! Liverpool next!

  88. Disappointed says:

    @ Jellykid

Well done for using your head to think so much for Arsenal. Hope Wenger will ask you for advice.

By the way, if Wenger was so well planned, why were we thrashed by ManU? Losing to Sunderland and AC Milan?

    Any insights?

  89. Disappointed says:

    @ Martian

    Totally agree.

  90. Tieneich says:

    @ reckless – nice re-post. ^^

I was really happy for Mozart to score. He played an immense game. Though he is no leader (see how Czech crashed out in 2006 WC), but his creativity is nothing short of amazing. Finally he have his game back after all the injuries he had.

Theo finally scored at home. He found himself in the second half as in the game in Stamford bridge. If we can play him as a striker in away matches that would be great. He rarely got caught off-side, which was Adebayor’s issue. Even though Ade was a much better scorer. I think we can use Theo in that role more. His first touch has been getting better, too.

  91. hobbitonfc says:

    @emman

Theft. If you’re gonna steal, elaborate and make it harder to track down.

  92. mobeen says:

All i can say is keep your words tender and sweet… you might have to eat em…
Great performance… Rosicky was awesome… Theo missed Sagna… Sagna provides those over-lapping runs allowing theo to cut inside and score at the far corner, he may be a one trick pony but a pony with blisterring pace… confidence has been lacking but this game and a few more like this will make life and goals easier for him…
Van persie is captain Vantastic, cant wait for Wilshire to be back, with Arteta, Rosicky and Ramsey they can be good in the middle…
Gervinho, OX and theo on wings…
Sagna, Koscielny, TV and Gibbs at back…
Am i the only one who thinks that Szceny (GK) was the better when he was on twitter and all? this focus thing is draining confidence outta him. GK need to be arrogant and cocky…
Great day to be Gooner!!! In Arsene we trust!!!

  93. gooner says:

guys guys look,if you look at saha’s goal carefully you can see that the ref was celebrating. just look at the ref, what a loser ref

  94. Tieneich says:

    @ gooner

we rarely win when Dean was the ref. In fact, this was probably the first match won under Dean’s watch.

  95. Jellykid says:

In EPL record, We’ve lost the last 10 consecutive matches with Mike Dean Referreeing….before the spuds game.

  96. Jellykid says:

Next season is going to be RVP with Podolski up front….. thats kinda scary…

  97. arshavin says:

i still am highly doubtful that we will sign podolski. he isnt even that good, i dont know why everyone thinks he is soo great. why is it that whenever an average player is speculated to come to arsenal, everyone always overhypes…

  98. Jellykid says:

Well, there were so many reports saying he signed personal terms with Arsenal already. I know the media always says stuff like that but why would they say it NOW at of all times if they were lying. Transfer window is done and Arsenal’s so called crisis the media made up hasn’t been overhyped again since the win against the spurs.

Podolski isn’t an average player LOL, he plays for Germany.. that should be entitled by anyone to know how beast the german team is. His stats alone speaks for itself this season and average??.. well he plays as a second striker and can play on the wing when we play our 4-3-3. He as an amazing powerful left foot. Has good vision and isn’t much of a flop forward when it comes to Chamakh because he’s known for goals in big games since he was a teenager. More direct at times I guess… and he starts for Germany.

  99. Akhil says:

Please make full highlight package available for download :)

  100. Arschloch says:

    @Arshavin

hmmm Poldi is an averge player and Arshavin is a top player. Are you sure you watch football ??

Podolski is no doubt a quality player. I watched some of his games for the German team and I think he’s a good player. I’m sure he’s even more quality now. I hope he and RVP can make an excellent striking options.
Arshavin is NOT bad. He has had a bad form this season but don’t forget even Vermaelen, Fabregas made mistakes/not so good performances which cost us points. Now everyone, please don’t accuse me for abusing Verm and Fab, they are great players and no abuse is ever going to come from my side.

    yeah i don’t like Podolski

I don’t see why we need a LB?? lolz Santos is amazing. Gibbs will get better. A MF or a Forward would be a nice buy.

  107. Sufian says:

@gooner, and why you don’t like Podolski?

  108. Sufian says:

Although today we weren’t at our very best but glimpses of quality were enough to get the 3 important points. I didn’t have any disagreement with the lineup, that has to be said. :)
