Henry probably got a Hollywood script writer to write his fairy tale return to Arsenal. It’s like a movie ..unreal !
Not as resounding a win as we should’ve had but at least we got all three points and are level on points with Chelsea now.

Ramsey is recovering well. So hopefully we can rest Walcott a little to refresh him. When is Gervinho coming back by the way?
Shava’s floating cross was class. That was some Euro 08 stuff, the reason we got him for. It was so awesome to see that class, which assisted our Legend to wrap up a beautiful second stint with the gunners. Don’t know if King of Highbury will play against Milan or not, but it would be nice to get another appearance.
Poor Mert. He has been getting better every game, and European competition is coming. I hope he can return soon again.

I don’t think Per Mertesacker was really hurt… I think he was just too embarrassed that he fell and tried to play it as an injury.. Thank God we won the game… it was like a movie blooper.. too comical!
brilliant result & good day for gooners especially as liverpoo & chavski got beat, just a pity the spuds won. thank you thierry henry & we will miss you. to show how much playing for arsenal means to him can only be good for the younger players in the squad. the return of sagna is another positive. great cross from arshavin, lets hope hes getting bk to his old self, we’ve all critisized him no more than myself but thats only because we know he is a brilliant player he just doesnt show it enough & its frustrating. his goal and general play against barca was just sublime & we want more of that from him. hopefully merts injury isnt too serious, that pitch was in terrible shape, think they put cows in the night before to stop arsenals flowing play.
@ashwin i dont know why wenger keeps loaning players out to bolton when they tried to demand a fortune for gary cahill, just cuz it was arsenal that wanted him, we did them a favour by loaning out wilshire who made a big impact for them with no thanks for it, now they have ryo. wenger should tell them politely to go fuck themselves when they ask for players on loan.

You’re right, we’ve a reason to miffed at Bolton. But getting premier league experience for someone so young and untested is very very difficult (except at arsenal, which is very risky). so in fact it’s almost like bolton is doing us a favor. but it is a win-win for both clubs.
I’m really looking forward to ryo development! Imagine, the OX, WALCOTT AND RYO! Defenders will have nightmares for years! (that is of course, all of them come good).

My expectations aren’t low at all, I want to win the league and every other competition we’re in. I have always been faithful to Arsenal even when we were 7th. Of course I was upset we were in that position, but I would never boo the squad or take part in a protest where I’d put trash liners on seats. I would try and support the team in order to boost their confidence. I think it’s funny that people chose to get vocal when the squad is doing poorly (e.g., say we are pathetic). Who would you want to be in the trenches with? Someone like me or people like you who are negative and critical of a team you supposedly support.

I have been following Arsenalist for quite some seasons now…. Back then, whenever Arsenal won, he used to write big paragraphs about how good our win was, who played well, areas of improvement & promising players. When Arsenal lost (which was rare), we would get on with it & look forward to the next match…
But the last & this season, we are losing & drawing a lot of games that we should win & this hurts us all… And Arsenalist is well within his right in venting out his frustrations.
Why do you think he takes such effort in maintaining this site. He is a die hard Arsenal fan & everyone should appreciate his efforts.
If he writes only when we lose then that is because he was used to blogging when Arsenal wins & that situation has now changed.
Somebody here told a story about going to a restaurant & leaving a feedback if the food is bad. Yeah the same applies here.
Support your team no matter but keep analyzing things when something goes wrong.

Did anyone read that article with kevin prince boateng talking about Arsenal, over their lack of inexperience. I have big respect for KPB, but those comments were the bitter truth in somewhat way. Arsenal were truly destroyed but massive injuries through out the seasons not mainly cuz of inexperience. But have your say if you decide to read it.
