Ramsey is really shitt he is too slow and useless
oh god… 2 goal down…
oh god… 2 goals down…
This team is looking like a headless chicken…
fuck ramsey and walcott
ramsey slow down the play
As a fellow gooner, I feel your pain. This defense is insanity, the midfield is mediocre at best and the strike, say what you want about RVP, our dependence on him also relies on him making 1 chance count out of the eight to nine that he’s given.
Walcott, lets not even go there…
ramsey fuck youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
you too walcott
Arsenal is just so predictable now a days. Everyone come to emirates and plays the same game. This team is so one dimensional.
Walcott is shit .. Ramsey also shit ..
what goes on in walcott’s and ramsey’s head? its as if it has dawned on them that this is the very top of professional football where you need pace, power, technique. that said, the team as a whole lacks fight…
yes….pulled one back…come on…you can do it…
Yesssss lets beat these assholesssss
That’s more like arseeeeeeenaaaallll…
yes, this is what the fans want – a fighting team. if a team goes down fighting to the very end, there is the satisfaction that they gave it their 100%…
fucking good arsenal…
@ ofebs i cannot agree more
KOS IS A BOSS!!!!
now they are in front, somebody better tell them not to take their foot off the gas. if u know ant fan in the stadium, pass on the message, the fans must continue to egg on the team and the manager…
why the hell are they dropping off now ? For villa to equalize ?
you guys are fuckin dicks…. look at your comments hating on the players in the beginning… PATHETIC. AW is right about one thing…. we live in a world where EVERYONE has an opinnion, to a point they can judge anyone anytime they want to lol… You guys judge them like you know the game in some Prof. level.
The first goal shouldn’t have been a goal, it was actually a FOUL the way Dunn just jumped on KOSC.
The second was legit and fabianski’s mistake.
IT WAS ONLY THE FIRST HALF!
If you been watching arsenal this season is that they play second half with full offence! Haters always gonna hate, can’t change that!
@gooner,shut up
you are so negative
@ jellykid
its not about hating, its about passion…
walcott and ramsey were rubbish in the first half and the team had no fight. that’s enough to get fans worked up – it was great that the team was booed going off, gave them something to think about.
all that passion from the fans contributed in the fight back in the 2nd half. walcott scored but his performance overall deserve no better than 5/10. fans must continue to be passionate.
great result
now i know walcott and ramsey just need confidence
in Arsene we trust
come on arsenal
win the next game
by the @jellykid i am not the only one who is negative, you have too typed negative things
Ramsey is not shit he is a good player at the moment, walcott has his moments and we saw both his sides today, the Ox is just waiting to rip up all the defences around the world…..I would like to Ryo Miyaichi develop and in the first team another VERY exciting player but Arsenal need Wilshere Arteta back for consistant period and definately a striker!
I’ll be listening to some Mozart tonight.
An in form Tomas is 10 times more creative(figuratively) than Aaron. Let Aaron stays in the back as a work horse to disturb the opposition mid field. I really like this starting XI we had today though.
The two wingers are showing life. Walcott always plays his heart out. I just wish his offense can be more consistent. He tracks back all the time to cover for defense – something Alex has to learn soon, and I am sure Alex will.
From today’s match you can see Walcott tried to get behind his marker. Sometimes he didn’t judge the ball well and his marker collects the ball easily and started attacking. He had to run back to track down, which is a complete waste of energy. I hope he get some improvement on that and he will be a lot more deadly.
As for Ramsey, I am still for that middle of first half season Ramsey to return, or when he grows into a Didier Dwschamps for us.
Good to have Sagna, Arteta, Coquelin back. Good to see Rosicky alive this season.
Now things will get even better when Santos and Gibb come back.
someone ought to give coquelin a credit. the lad’s pretty lively and showing great fighting spirit as well as skills, at least potentially, but definitely not a real fullback. think he might be a good cover for alex song or even wilshere/ramsey. it’s good to have bacary back & king henry to (almost) rip their defenses off. if only his physique could still cope.
Dear Haters,
I know its frustrating supporting arsenal but the fight u saw today was unbelievable… coming back from 2 goals down to win it… it was incredible… Made you eat your words, and like how… jellykid is right we have had some good second halves… its no coincidence… its conditioning and fatigue… we play slick passing, even if we dont score, we manage to tire out opponents… and hit them on the counter in the second half when tired legs cant keep up or keep the shape… the way rvp ran to henry… i think he must’ve said something in the break… good job… COYG
regards
gooner
i am sure henry told them to run at villa’s defence and go for goal rather than pass pass. i say this because the 3 goals came from our players running to goal. the same way ManU scored the 2nd against us last week. this is something our players don’t do enough off even though they have the skills to do it…
today’s team is not our best 11 this season and no where near our best 11 of previous years, but they deserve a standing ovation for the fightback. no one has picked up on this, but we are missing Gervinho, his game inspires walcott and ramsey…
where is anonymous_gooner?
:-) .
He is paking Arshavin´s bags
Ask yourselves this. Do you think booing and hating on the team makes them play better? The answer is no.
@ jrock
does booing make the team play better?
yes, if they care about the fans!
no, if they don’t care…
…and if they don’t care, they are not be fit to wear the shirt.
definitely Ramsey is NOT the playmaker we need
Walcott can score, when he is NOT trying(watching), that was a fluke but we def needed the luck, still think he is best as a late SUB
good win
Good afternoon,
I started watching the game from the 35th minute and thought we could still win the game!then they scored and I went from KeepTheFaith to NoMoreFaith/HereWeGoAgain… I said to my wife, I will never ever watch an Arsenal game again! We ate lunch and I calmed down and thought let’s give them a second chance maybe we are 1-2 down and can force a replay! The score was 3-2! Moral of the story, KeepTheFaith!
My 10c on today’s game:
1. Arsene deserves credit for:
1.1 picking up the team when all seamed lost!
1.2 taking the fa cup serious and pick a very strong team!!!!
2. The youngsters did well! But how do you manage both fringpong and coquilin?
3.It is great to see Bacery back! Hopefully we can get everyone back we need (2xRB) so we can push on in EPL and fight for 3rd place!
4. Flappy is still Flappy, had a good game! 2nd goal wasn’t his fault, bad luck with the rebound… I prefer szczesny though!
Onward we march, next game in the fa will be away!now the real test starts!
KeepTheFaith
In Arsene we trust
Look like Villa..
*Shades*
paid the penalty.
To be honest Ramsey operates best at CAM while there’s 2 DM’s like Arteta and Song. We played 4-3-3 today I believe, so Rosicky pretty much outshined him on the playmaking part.
Arsenal fans are so shortsighted, Shows the support you put in your team. Absolutely pathetic, most of you. This is why the team is failing, slamming ramsey and walcott in the beginning and then turning around. 2 faced assholes. COYG
I am glad the transfer talk of Coquelin is just a fluke. If the kid stays, he would be an integral part of our team. The kid is good.
It’s true that Ramsey plays well in CAM when he has Gervinho and Arteta. Though in CAM role he still hesitates too much. Tomas 7 always played CAM, and his form has been very good this season. This is why I kept saying about starting Tomas to give Ramsey a break. Boy, he played like the little Mozart back in the day.
Gibb will be included soon. By the end of February, hopefully, we’ll only have Santos and Jack on the I-List, and Gervinho will be back.

Kos was absolutely awesome, he defends and attacks with passion, something lacking in some of the arsenal players. Arsene should tied him to a long term contract. Still not convince with Walcott and Ramsey, both need to improve. Arsenal defense against set pieces still a lot to be desired.
i’m no hater,i just give honest opinion.if they play like shit then i say they play like shit.if they play good then it is good.just sometimes i have wishful thinking about aw buying someone worthy, thus i dont see anything wrong with me expressing that.
Can you put up the vermaelen free kick up please. I heard it was a terrific effort.
The news that Arsenal has failed to get Lukas from Cologne is not good, why cant Arsene offer Bentdner plus some cash for Lukas ..Bendtner should do well in the Bundasliga..
Samba is another good and experienced defender ready to join Arsenal if an offer is put on the table..
great spirit and fight shown by the gooners. thats all any arsenal fan wants to see from the team, play to the whistle & try your hardest & no-one can fault you. fair play to wenger cuz wotever he said at half time done the trick. this win is important for the whole team as it should instill a little confidence & belief for the future & hopefully we start to get a few players back from injuries soon. wenger for f**k sake sign chris samba, i will take you down to blackburn in a shopping trolley if i have to. i feel sorry for ramsey, how many arsenal players have suffered horrific injuries & never been the same player afterwards but hes young and has time on his side, just needs to cut out the fancy backheel fetish & keep it simple.
Arsenal has played well. Just enjoy the process… Arsenal will still win nothing this year. No offense to anyone…
Arsenalist,
I like how you leave a scathing 2.5 paragraph message when we lose, but when we win, you just post the highlights without any comments on what a remarkable spirit we showed. Stand by your team, man.
yeah @arsenalist
did you guys notice henry touched rvp’s ball when rvp jumped on him after he scored?
really funny
why are you on this site if you are complaining. if he wasnt standing by his team then why is he still posting highlights of every single match? he is doing a favor to all arsenal supporters
@Mr. Falcon
He posts ‘scathing paragraphs after we lose because we are not supposed to lose, a clubs s big as arsenal should be losing as much as we are. And he’s doesn’t after we win because it is expected. Its good to be hopeful, but some of you make it seem as if we are some sorry mid table team who are trying to breach the top ten. We’ve been hopeful for too lonng now, 6 years to be exact. WE NEED RESULTS.
If u absolutely love food and have a favourite restaurant and chef…
when the food is good u leave a tip n return for more…
When the food or service is bad u leave a long feedback/complain n still return for more…
Its normal, you coming back for more is an indicator of ur fondness for it…
Its easier to change favourite restaurants than to change favourite clubs…
Its Arsenal or no more football for some… I think Arsenalist is one of those people…
Go easy on him… sometimes the best compliment u can give is to just shut up and enjoy…
Thank u arsenalist… appreciate the effort…
who saw the ManCity game…
Everton ambushed City and this might just derail their run for the title in a very similar way Birmingham ambushed Arsenal a couple of seasons ago when we were cruising to the title. In all of this only one club stands to profit and you know who that is…
Usually things are set up for that club to begin leading the pack during the winter months. The period when refereeing standards in the premier league always take a nosedive. The ref for instance has made sure Ashley Cole misses next match against Valencia…
Take time to look at the ref performance yesterday -
ManU vs Stoke
Everton vs City
Norwich vs Chelsea
and then SAF commenting on the Everton game says ‘its all part of the plan’ – whose plan I wonder? In years to come we will learn about the underbelly of the premier league just as we have been learning about the underbelly of FIFA – it won’t be pretty…
Where are all the optimists?
@ Mr. Falcon,
STFU… We are fans… not fanatics… there is a big difference there… We don’t just blindly follow… We have a right to our own opinions and we fully exercise that right here… If you don’t like it.. then you shouldn’t visit this FAN BLOG… ARSENALIST’S FAN BLOG… Well after today… this is it mates… not even Europa League football for us… time to start rooting for Swansea City… I’ll still continue to watch the games… but I will forbid myself from becoming emotionally-invested in the result… It’s hard to be a Gooner… it has been too painful… anyways I’m done ranting and raving… till next season… hopefully we get some half-decent players by then
there will be no decent players if the fans don’t demand them starting now…
Mobeen .. what on the menu at the Emirates at the moment ? The menu maybe the same, the chef is the same but the food that the kitchen is churning out for the past few months is inconsistent sometimes it tastes good but not delicious. Lately the dish is horrible and can make you throw up after a few bites ..people say the chef has lost his touch, some say he is using sub standard ingredients (cheap and of low quality) ..the wine served is not mature and taste horrible. The chef explained that to keep the Emirates restaurant in the profit he must minimize expenses thus the low quality ingredients…
@Mr. Falcon Why, it’s when they loose they need some notes on what to do otherwise. Why would you want to talk a lot of stuff..?
the situation at Arsenal is dire for one reason only – we are refusing to pay for heavyweight players needed to get consistent results in a heavyweight league. in my humble opinion, we have made enough profits these past years to start re-investing heavily in the team.
just thinking outloud – could the club debts be much more than the club let out even in the books? the staunch refusal to spend big by Arsene and the complete acceptance of this by the board is far from normal if the club’s finances are as healthy as we are led to believe.
i av accused the board in a previous post of lacking ambition, but i find it hard to believe that men who have been sports fans all their lives, would not be hungry to win trophies after 6years of winning nothing. thinking outloud – have these men become senile
@mofaz – Excellent analogy! Very well put together… hear, hear
@Ofebs – I don’t think it is just Wenger… The Board is in it too… He is complacent with them… after all last time I checked he was like #5 or #6 best paid manager in the world… why in the world would he care? he is still getting paid…
I am really mad that previous majority-holders and the board refused to sell to Alisher Usmanov… Why? Because he is Russian??… They wont even allow him to join to board… he owns 27% of the club and they wont let him join… Usmanov had offered £100 million to Kroenke, to be used for transfer funds, in exchange for a position on the board… They denied… 100 million punds
Instead they sold that that pathetic-excuse for an owner Stan Kroenke… I think he did a leveraged buy-out too… just like the Glazers did… Lets face it, the owner is not that wealthy, he doesn’t care about Football… Arsenal is just a cash cow for him… he is going to milk us the fans.. and when we are broke and fighting for relegation he is going to sell us for whatever he can get…

I suggest a petition to have Alisher Usmanov sit on the board… and bring David Dein back… that is why he left… the current board is corrupt… he knows it… Arsene knows it… I really dont like Gazidis.. something about him makes me distrust him… like a snake-oil salesman
just to put out there,
THE TERM FAN is SHORT for “FANATIC” DUMBASS.
Hey Jellykid, should we be thankful for the draw against Bolton?
Good luck living in your easy blind-follower world.
@Jellykid
What will be done?? Nothing… the club is still making a profit… we continue to pay the highest ticket prices in Europe to see two or three gifted players, surround with a bunch of sacks of excrement… The board is milking us.. the is no ambition to win because there are no negative consequences to losing… and it is due to fanatics like you, who follow blindly and do as you’re told, that we are in this predicament… GOONERS REVOLT!!! hit them were it hurts… their wallets…
We are not spoiled, it has just been too painful to see the way we have shot ourselves is the foot.. year after year… we have come very close to winning, and that is why it hurts… because a little re-investment in the team would have taken us there… instead we are were we are…
It’s painful to be a gooner..
what happened with the $50 million transfer kitty???
What happened to the money made from the Cesc, Nasri?
Where has the money been re-invested???
Who was brought in to replace Cesc?
I do agree with the comments that it is not entirely Arsene’s fault… I never said that it was all his fault.. I do think he is complacent with status-quot… he is still among the top 5 best paid managers in the world… yet he hasn’t won anything in 6 years… Things have been slowing turning to shit but we took it because we had a team that was fun to watch and great players… I don’t know if you have seen the games lately but a Championship game has more excitement… We just pass the ball backwards or side-ways… unless someone tries to make a run at the defense… no more beautiful passes that break a defense… no more intricate play.
We all know that Arsene has continually stuck with mediocre players that have cost us dearly.. Denilson, Squilachi, Almunia, Flappyhanski, Diaby, Silvestre.. need I say more??
The team has continually turned to shit around this time (Jan – Feb).. year after year… yet nothing is done… What are we doing about it? – NOTHING…
just look at Juventus. They were relegated not long ago now they top their league. And the fans never turned their back on them. ARSENAL FOR LIFE!!!
@ goonerforlife
no one is suggesting that anyone turn their back on the team. if juventus had made no attempt to get the players to take them to the top, they would not be there. the anger here is that it is time arsenal starting investing heavily in the team again but they seem not to be willing to do that. this leaves the fans one option – protest…
There were four trophies we were so close to winning just last year, but because the board/manager were too cheap, we fell short on every one, and so the best players have left us.
When RvP is gone, I wonder where the team will end up. Take away his goals, and we’ll be fighting relegation.
come on arsenal agaist blackburn
If i’m not mistaken Arsene’s contract includes a non disclosure clause of the going ons within the board. Arsene agrees not to comment or discuss the board’s decisions and The Board in return will back Arsene’s policy regardless of the results as long as the club is profitable .. We’ll only know the truth after Arsene ends his tenure at Arsenal .. I personally dont mind if Arsenal brings in a unknown player , just as long as the player gives 100% and the type who HATES LOSING ..Tevez .. A. Caroll and Torres are prime example of players that cost a bomb but failed ..
@Gnostradamus, I don’t believe we will be fighting for relegation, but I wish the board and Wenger do think that way. It will only make them keep him for a little longer.
