Now Chelsea leads 1:0 and we are still depending on the Arshavin. Fucking crap.

  2. Ex-Arse-Analist says:

  6. Ex-Arse-Analist says:

well done Arshavin, get back to the old one

  7. Arshavin says:

dont think arshavin should have been subbed off. he needs a goal for his confidence and this looked his best opportunity. at least he had an assist and look to be gaining his former self

  8. arsenal-fan says:

well what does barton has to say about his diving team mate now?

that cunt didn’t pull his teammate up with the shirt uh :D

  9. loose_cannon says:

I’m a pretty big walcott fan but that miss…wow, just wow :(

  10. GERVINHO says:

can you put up the gervinho ‘OLE’ skill that he used on barton?
sweet revenge for gervinho himself :)

  11. Andrei says:

Did Gervinho missed a ridiculous chance? can you upload it please? i missed it

  12. Ex-Arse-Analist says:

MANU lost, Chelsea are lsing, come on gonner make my day a lovely one.

  13. Andrei says:

Cheers Arsenalist for that one, happy new year to you and all gooners (ok, non gooners too)

    Lets enjoy top 4 :)

  14. Phoenyx says:

We are in the Top 4, and in addition, we come back three points behin Tottenham! Perfect afternoon! But so many missed opportunities from Walcott, Gervinho and van Persie. It should have been easily 4-0!

  15. mofaz says:

Again Ramsey tried his back heel pass and gave the ball away for QPR to attack..Arsene should smack his head and say “Enough with these fancy back heel just simple passes” ..If Arsenal starts with the same players against Fulham a lost is on the card..

  16. mofaz says:

Man Utd goal keeper is Almunia’s clone ..

  17. Jellykid says:

Gervinho NUTMEGGED BARTON in the box LOL, was unlucky to get his shot blocked after that but should have scored later!

RVP had one those games where he was unlucky but he still scored!!!!

  18. mofaz says:

Chelsea F Lampard intentionally gave away the ball to S Ireland for the 3rd goal to get AVB sack..

  19. Mississauga2012 says:

The commentator took the words straight out of my mouth…Walcott will never play as a striker…#NOT@ARSENAL#

  20. VeraCruz says:

could have been a more comfortable score, but a win is a win plus we got a clean sheet. i never doubted that we would be among the top 4 by now, only people who counted us out were haters, pundits and fans from other teams (who ironically are bellow us in the table). and yes walcott should focus on is job right now, he will be a striker when he’s worthy, right now he’s a winger, he should focus on that

  21. Gnostradamus says:

Remember the days when our wingers were wonderful scorers?

  22. Gnostradamus says:

    Sorry, happy new year!

  23. karabas says:

Glad to see Arshavin get an assist :) The guy is under so much pressure from the fans, he needs some good results to get him back in the game.

  24. Tieneich says:

Happy New Year 2012 indeed. Sorry to the fighting gunners that I miss the game by attending a countdown. Happy 2012 to y’all from Taiwan.

What a nice day to see us winning and other teams don’t.

  25. Gnostradamus says:

The handball video isn’t working anymore?

  26. Koolio says:

Very sorry for Walcott. Hes been in terrific form lately, but today he went back to the start of the season. That cold really affected him. Hard game monday. Get RVP in there, but if its not possible, let Henry deal get done fast, not sure about park. Rosicky as CAM, Yossi/Alex ox for walcott, and who ever fills in left back.

  27. Gnostradamus says:

United fans are thumbing down their match highlights. Let’s “help” them out.

  28. mofaz says:

I feel very sad for Park, he must be regreting his decision to come to Arsenal. Hope Arsene will play him in the FA cup .

  29. Jellykid says:

I keep looking at the Walcott miss, HOW DID HE MISS THAT!??…..

He had few yards away from the defender and his first touch to set up the shot and angle was good…. I thought he should have curled it towards the right corner easily. Not trying to say he sucks or anything but I’m kinda used to Gervinho missing, but Walcott shouldn’t be on a similar run -__-”

  30. Tieneich says:

    @ Mofaz and Jellykid

I feel for Park, too. He would have made that Walcott chance. He had made it before. Walcott, if he came in from the right side, he probably would have curled it in… from middle and left it was a different story.

  31. mobeen says:

arshavin made a beautifully weighted pass for van persie strike… Van persie was under a lot of pressure to score a brace that ruined the usually calm finisher, he put the same kinda pressure on himself for the wolves game… walcott is fresh off a short break and will get better soon… important thing we won and totenham drew…
    hope vermaelen gets well soon…
I know its a typical arsenal game when
    1. Gervinho misses a sitter
    2. Walcott does great work n then messes up the finish
    3. Ramsey come oohh so close to scoring
    4. Vermaelen gets booked for someone else’s offense
    5. Van Persie scores and we win

We believe for we are the gunners!!!

  32. Tieneich says:

I need a shout. This is a great beginning of a new year ^^

  33. mobeen says:

wooohooo city lost… what a way to begin the year… thank u sunderland…

  34. KeepTheFaith says:

    Good afternoon everyone,

Was catching up on the latest soccer scores while a bunch of lions are roaring outside the chalet’s window so I thought why not drop a comment! I’m on a weekend breakaway in the South African bush and cannot comment on the QPR game, so great result for the club (is all I can say)!

BUT my 2 cents on club matters: tomorrows game against Fullham is going to be very important! A win will move us very close to Tots and will put them under pressure! Due to the Man C vs Liverpool game, a win will also allow us to move 3/2 points clear of Liverpool or 3/2 points closer to Man C! So we need the win! Very difficult game but we can do it!

Lastly a bit more worrying for me personally: THEO WALCOTT, I think he is looking for greener pastures… I think, the same as Nasri, his head and heart is not at Arsenal anymore… That is why his performances are down and why he’s finishing is off… If he doesn extend before the Jan window closes, I think Arsene will sell him first day of the summer transfers… I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think I’m! Any comments?

    In Arsene we trust
    KeepTheFaith

  35. @ KTF says:

i think he is just putting more pressure on himself as Henry(14) possibly coming back as he wants to finish & score goals to be a ST/CF not a winger so when he has a clear chance he is too hesitated so he misses it or pass instead of a shot.Although u have a point but i wish u r wrong

  36. Koolio says:

@Keepthefaith It was one game, he is in bad form. He has been fine form the last couple of months. Stop exaggerating so fast. Its probably that illness he just came from.

  37. mofaz says:

Theo Walcott is not going anywhere, his main weakness is his inability to get pass defender by the old fashion way of dribbling the ball. Look at Gervinho he gets pass defender easily with his quick feet he’s very similar to Nasri and Hleb. Gervinho only needs to improve on his finishing. As for Ramsey he got that killer pass instict but sometimes too over confident and too elobrate eg those failed back heels passes, he needs to concentrate on simple effective passes like Cecs. As for Arteta and Benyaoun , both are experience players and very hard working. Rosicky also very hardworking and experinced player. Arshavin can be frustrating and then suddenly make a killer pass for a match winning goal..

  38. mofaz says:

Does anyone know when Santos , Wilshire and Sagna will be back ?

  39. Tieneich says:

@ Mofaz, Sagna, Jack, and Santo will return (expected) in end of January, mid February, and early March, respectively. Diaby should be back soon, but Gibb and Jenkinson are not.

I agree with what you said about Ramsey’s over confidence. Also, he sometimes force a things to happen a little too much or he thinks too much. Theo is probably just tired.
