They did score a $hitty goal, and we failed on many attempts. They were good attempts as well. Basically after Miqui and Shava came up, we lost the attacking ability on the left flank. Too bad! Should have Jenkinson up and keep Verm on the left.

A narrow win for them. Some individual weaknesses today, but we will have many injured back in a few weeks. Doesn´t matter, the season is still long and we will beat them in Emirate. Come on Gunners!!

I agree Man City did have more chances in the beginning but to me that didn’t really matter. Arsenal were threatening too. I MISSED ANDRE SANTOS TODAY!!
I felt the best chance for goal (that SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GOAL) was when Arshavin just had to put a good cross in the middle with 3 arsenal players running up to score but his cross was extremely poor. Ofcourse there were many other chances but that was a clear to me if anyone has seen that moment in the game.
I really thought the Verminator scored but that was a crazy save!

Yeah, this game can go either way just like the Carlin Cup encounter. We’d be stronger if all our players are back.

Rosicky or Diaby( If he was available) should have came on. As much as I don’t care about the january transfer window or who we should get, because I feel our squad is compact and good… it really seems we’re most likely to get someone in january.
For everyone who wanted AOC to come on for Walcott, I’m not really sure about that because Richards would have out muscled him, but he is fast to create crosses so it would really have been an odd gamble especially with his inexperience. Chamakh out muscled richards! lol if anyone seen that.
cant fault the performance today, chesney made some nice saves, wasnt much he could do about the goal. but why bring on the most out of form players not just in the epl but the entire world in arshavin & chamakh. is park injured? if not i would rather have seen him & AOC come on. i knew we were goosed when those 2 donks came on, arshavin couldnt pass wind & unless you are gonna cross balls into the box a lot chamakh is ineffective. bah fucking humbug

Again some ??´s about Walcott.No comparison can be made between the two players. They have different style and position. Walcott couldn´t produce much because either doppeled or caught in the position by the solid city defence today ..must confess and exactly we missed Sagna and Sanots, they could release the midfield where Ramsey wasn´t so effective, bad day for him not to blame, shit happens, but Arshavin was again so disappointing, Shamach did well, still not so impressive and overall City were lucky to score.
Imagine our defense against city with Sagna, Koscielny, Verma, Santos against the pacy city (mertesacker for other games). It was a stupid goal to concede. We couldve had a draw or even a win if it wasnt for the defense shifting.
While agreeing what you said, I do have to mention the good performance by Mert (after Batrlotelli beat him and Djourou in the box).
I agree with what AW said in the interview after the match. The shuffling of the defense was frustrating especially with all your fullbacks out.

What’s with the back heel pass by Ramsey ..he tried several times and failed..just make simple accurate passes no need to show off . Arshavin is on his way out , you can tell from the way he played, should have played Benayoun ..The defense was solid and attacking very dangerous. Vermalean very unlucky..Miquel was very calm and dont think Santos can cope with fast attacking City but he does add to the attack.
Looking at the coming fixtures, Arsenal already played the top teams away..the remaining games in Dec are against winnable teams.
city wont let us dominate the midfield last night, they pressed really hard in the middle and in the end arsenal had to pass to the gk and play a long ball.
Ramsay was fouled, but I don’t know if ManC had any incidents in our box too. We’ve the best defensive record at home after Swansea and ManC, but the worst away record in the league alongside second-bottom Blackburn.

It did seem like they pressed on us in the midfield but i think its lack of creativity with the fullbacks when your playing with 4 CB’s.
Fuck Wenger, he killed Arshavin. Good players don’t become junk suddenly, without a reason. He was totally spoiled by Wenger.
