This game was a F*****g joke ! i can’t stand watching this side anymore. We had at times 70% of the ball possession but it was used so badly. We lacked precision, i felt we were near but yet so far. This season is like every time we had an opportunity to catch up with both MU and Chel$ki we failed by playing a non match or making to many mistakes.
Mr Wenger i love arsenal and all you’ve brought to the club but, damn you need to change some things rapidly!! playing good football is a thing but winning is way, way better ! We definetly need to strengthen our team and get our player back at their top level.
Clichy and walcott are far from good (in top matches) since their return.Sagna can’t cross, but even when he does, there are nobody to make the most of it. Almunia, had enough of him so, no comment.
The whole defense was poor on both goals.
Conceed a goal from a corner in the first 10 minutes of that kind of games.. let’s just be serious for a sec lads!!
the second one was just a question of organisation but still we got confused.
At the other end arshavin was unable to put one back in the first half when he got that wonder of a pass from fabregas over the chelsea’s defense. BUT HE IS NOT A STRIKER !!!

This is the year when they were supposed to be able to compite and get the title. The truth is that we will have to be careful not to slip out of the first four…
Why Wenger cannot address the issues of the team which are more then obvious for even to my 1 year old son?
Has he lost his ability to judging?
Is he blinded by his own faith in his players?
I am afraid the players are already know that they are not capable to perform and they can’t confess it because of Wenger’s deep faith in them.
Anyway, I really-really miss that kind of play which was known as the Arsenal style of play. Haven’t seen it for a very-very long time. I don’t care about titles, I want to see my team again.

Lucky i recorded this game because it was on at 3am in australia and i watched it at 5am jus 2 hrs afta but as soon as i saw 2 – 0 it jus reminded me of man u all over again. playin wel goin up. a half ass counter and bang we’re done! checked the score FT score right then n there and turned it off. what a joke. we’re good goin forward and i didnt c after 20 min so i dont know wat happened but this is just absolutely appauling defending. both goals were SOOO EASILY!! preventable its a joke 2 think they can even concede like dat.

On a level Arsenal need to step up. It is not Clichy’s fault. It is just the confidence in the team that needs sorting out that’s all. Since 2010 started Almunia has been a pain in the ass at times. Walcott is a young player with lightning PACE who just needs time to reach his form then we can start talking about Theo. As for the rest of Arsenal they need a boost in confidence.

The thing with Arsenal is that the squad we selected was not good for the past 3 games. How the flip can you put Arshavin as a cf and Nasri and Walcott partnering him. MIDFIELDERS ARE NOT STRIKERS! He should have put Bendtner as the cf and Walcott with Arshavin partnering him. If that was selected then we might have seen a goal. ThE MIDFIELD WAS OKAY BUT THE DEFENCE PLAYED RUBBISH! I reckon without Didier we would have won the game by at least one goal to be honest.

Here are a list of players we need to buy: Andre Pierre Gignac or Marouane Chamakh,Aissati and Matuidi,Chiellini(cuz he is a CB who can play LB) or Vincent Kompany (who has a fantastic relationship with Vermaelen) Wenger should buy some of these guys because it will surely strengthen our squad and give us title hopes.

the smartest thing arsene did was not play denilson… but our team is too young to beat a side like chelsea. we always choke the big games, sometimes you need that drive to a see a season to the end, we lack maturity and leadership on the pitch, almunia is nervous which spreads to the defence….
i think now we must bet manonne or fabianski in goal for the next 13 games, some exp will do them good, maybe even ready them for next season… i dont any good keeper is buyably right now…. also get someone in for gallas, he is getting old, so lets do something soon or else we’ll be bitchin off next season as well…. and as far as strikers, we’ve been unlucky as hell… bendtner can be really good on his day, i’ve seen him on internationals… and well why not get pavylchenko, we saw him link up with arshavin in the euros… so why not? cheap and available.
anyways… go gunners! i’ll always believe.

Very strange gameplay. Slow passing all the way and then big high crosses right into the crowd of big, high Chelsey defenders. Disgusting.
As for AA – it could work to have AA on the top only if there was another AA behind, to give passes. Fabregas cannot play solo for the whole midfield.
Having AA on the top is bad not only because he is small, but mainly because the team goes short of playmakers.

I think its bye bye fabregas in the next transfer window unless wenger convinces him of one last shot at the league! n the only way he can do that is by buying at least 1 player in each position of the field to support him i.e. 1 keeper 1 defender 1 midfielder 1 FUCKING AWESOME striker! Even then i wouldn’tbe surprised if he leaves n i wouldn’t blame him! we’ve had a lot of ppl comin back from injury but nobody is as gr8 as they used to be – especially roscisky walcott eduardo and clichy !! Arshavin has been a gr8 player but he cant shoot spectacular goals all the time! n remember he has an injured foot!

My biggest concern is that we have been saying the same shite for the past 4 years and nothing is changing.
We will have our players looking decent at the world cup. They will all come back and we will have brilliant pre-season. Rolling past the opposition with some sweet moves. Wenger is then going to have the false belief that the squad he has will be able to do it for him.
We have a decent start to the season. Maybe we are top or second and are playing some amazng football…..Our inform player gets injured and from them on anything goes. We finish 3rd/4th onfce again and another fella is going to post a comment like this next year.

i think the damn injuries this whole season has finally affecting us in the big games… bendtner is like good but slow… and he was never that good… then edwardo is out… theo only made his 4th start… clichy made his 2nd or 3rd start… van persie and gibbs out…. so its tough winning against big teams….
everyone is saying buy buy…. but when you have soo many players injured to buy a new player is expensive with the wages… we are just fans but we are no running multi million/billion $ club…. to give each player 60k a week is a lot of money…. cause when others are not injured many will be on the bench and in reserves and money goes…. and we all know how money conscious arsenal are… we dont have chelsea money to keep big players on the bench… and just keep on giving more money…. he did try getting a player on loan but they wanted 13mil and no loan… so its tough running a football club…. if all players were fit and lost then we could not complain…. and today we did play well… just bad luck today with some easy chances …

I dunno how much wenger is to blame for the transfer n stuff! wat we see from the outside is diff from wat really happens! chamakh has said that he would like to come to arsenal soon so thats decent news! i din see any gr8 player transfered in the jan window! so i don think we missed out there! n the previous window i guess was just too inflated cz of man city!! so maybe we cant blame him too much!

Goooner, our side used to beat Chelsea in the season 2007/08. Then, Arsenal was even younger. Now, if we think reasonably, we should have been a lot better than in 2007. But are we really?

The fact is we prob wont need a striker next year. Van persie will be back. Bendtner will be stronger and better. As will vela and walcott. Arshavins foot will have healed and he will finally be over the disappointment of russia not being in the world cup.
The good news is that time is on our side. If we keep all our players, i am sure next season will be the true turn of the tide!!!

It’s shocking, what so called Fans are writting here. We are still 3rd, where are far away from being rubbish. I agree, that some players like Almunia, Denilson or Walcott are NOT good enough, but it’s really a shame that our great matches are forgotten because of 3 bad games in a row.
You can lose against ManU and Chelsea, because they have more money and a better squad than us (let’s face it) and it’s a great achievement that we were at one level with them until now. If we buy a good goalkeeper and Van Persie stays fit the next season, we will win something, I’m sure. Let’s win against Livpool and secure a place in the Top 3.

I think the problem is, that everbody thinks BUYING is the solution for every problem, but we have no Abramovich or Arabs and i am happy about it. I prefer being third in the league than being first and have to rely on the money of one person. We have a decent team and every fan should support them until the end of the season even if we have some bad games.

We were beaten tactically, simple as. Time was when we used to do to other teams what Chelsea and ManU did to us. Catching the opposition with lightening spead on the break. Now were the ones getting sucked in and getting caught out. Ballack is an odious knob but he was right when he says we are predictable. Can anyone tell me what were our tactics to win or even draw the last two games???

@Jesse the gun: Ok, but villa wanted 140k per week. Don’t know if it’s true, but someone posted it on arsenal.com and that’s far to high. But i agree, Arsene should’ve bought in january, especially a goalkeeper, because Almunia is awful at the moment -.-. Let’s Hope RVP will be back at the end of March and will score 3 goals against Spurs and ManCity, when we beat them 5:0 and finish at least 2nd

@Lardarse: You’re right, that’s the problem of our 4-3-3 system without RVP. Chelsea played like an away team, only on counterattacks and set pieces and we had no answer what to do against it. Chelsea defence (+Drogba) was too good for us yesterday.

@ Kevin & AustriaGooner: again thk u for commun sens … here some people dont understand that soon club will have to rely on there own income and we r the only top 4 club who dont have crazy debt.. like Man u or chelski or liver poor … we got yes the stadium to pay but it aint a burden cos we do can afford it.. our wage structure is spot on and we dont need to dirisput it for some player who think is a god send hero.. we got chamak coming and iam sure we will get a new keeper nxt season or get manone or fabiansky as number 1 ( but i fancy lloris from lyon to come our way) but all of you should stop moaning and realise that our team isnt as pittyful as u say it is.. and yes lets face it chelsea is above many team and iam sure u will c them in the final CL this year ..

Every1 has been saying that we’re maturing and we’re almost there! i know that we’ve had bad luck! the team that went close to beating man u at old trafford was diff from the team that got thrashed at home! maybe we’re missing van persie! but thats the whole point right?? maybe chelsea n manu are better equipped at grinding results wen a few players are missing! but we’re not! We have one good striker and thats it! bendtner and eduardo are not at the best of their form!!

man only if certain cunts didnt rip adebayor and knock his confidence down to make him a mediocre player for the rest of the season…he wouldnt of wanted to leave nor would we have sold him. we so could use him now he could be are drogba he was on FIREEE when he was on top form. anymoney with the team we have now with the old ade we could…would? be top!!!

Hopefully the Gunners will turn things around this season. With such a long list of quality, attacking players, they should do very well in 2010/11.
