Arsenal vs Liverpool Highlights 2-1

What a great win? Big credit to our defense for standing tall in the final 15 when Liverpool threw whatever they had at them. Great job by Ashavin for persisting even though he didn’t have much success in the first half, but don’t forget Song, Vermaelen and Gallas who headed out pretty much every threatening Liverpool cross. Traore also deserves credit and I have to say, when we brought in Silvestre on I got a little nervous. The midfield wasn’t great for either team but ours was better, we won the ball back many times in one-on-one situations and intercepted Liverpool passes consistently. Great effort! We do need a big striker up-front because right now we don’t have a target man, Arhsavin is awesome but he’s too small to be playing with his back to the goal. I think Wenger will purchase in January and as long as our defense can keep it together, we should be fine.

Yes, we need a tagetplayer. We have been lucky that Ashravin has scored so well for some games, not playing in his favorite position. He is to come in the second wave, also excellent in assisting goals.

hey good win we are in the mix with that game in hand now. this is the time for Wenger to bring his intelligence to good use and buy a striker he always makes excellent buys when he does decided to buy someone lol.

way to go arshavin!! beautiful goal, and whatever arsene said at the half did the trick. man u lose, stupid chelsea draw at home and we beat liverpool at anfield. great weekend.
I do agree that we need a physical presence up front. ive heard nistlerooy could be a target. that would be pretty dope, but im not sure wenger would get him.

Arsenalist, can you confirm if there was an offside before the Gerrard penalty claim? I’m sure there was as Liverpool broke forward.

Maybe I am too sensitive, but I was rather unsettled by Wenger’s gesture after Arshavin’s winner. The player ran half the length of the pitch to celebrate with him but Wenger merely pushed him away… is something going on there?

i dunno what GT is talkin bout wenger clearly patted arshavin on the head i didnt see anythin wrong wit it u gotta remeber it was onli 57 min u cant except em 2 give em a big old hug as if the game was over but i bet if it was 93 or sumthin then wenger wud of hugged em like he did 2 gallas in the 2-2 home tie vs man utd couple years bacl but haha dis a reverse of are game at old trafford

GT, Wenger is smiling and even intended to give arshavin a hug. unbelievable strike, glen johnson did everything right to cover the shot but arshavin still manage to did this.

Good football,dat remind me of 03/04 season when we came 4rm a goal,with a d 4rm edu and fatanstic goal by pires dat council a deficit goal by kewel,now we are baçk in d race,we have to be focus and keep dis mometum so dat we can finaly end up wining truph dis season.more so (baba)means wenger as we u to call him in nigeria should make he sign a striker in january so dat we can hope 4 truph.

Meine Couch ist jetzt schon ein paar Jahre alt und jetzt muss ich mir dringend eine neue kaufen. Bin auf der suche nach einer Couch aus einem sehr robusten Material, da ich 2 Hunde habe, die noch sehr jung sind und manchmal sehr wild spielen. Ich weiß leider nicht, welche Materialien besonders unempfindlich und robust sind, daher hoffe ich hier ein paar Empfehlungen zu bekommen.
