in the strikin department we really missed v persie. Bs goals n chelsea created nothin. U culd tell as soon as it was 2 nil it was gona b one of those days coz it was jus a crap deflection. we need another strike as vela was the only replacement. dudu played crap and v perise wuldve prob buried atleast one of those chances. The only place we’ve always lacked with Wenger is our finishing. We had more possession and created more chances, the only reason we didn’t win was because we didn’t take them. It’s why we need another person like we had Henry a few years back; he was the only one good at finishing!

Fucked up, and unlucky, considering were playing against the team with least goals allowed its no surprise that scoring against chelsea would be difficult, but the addition of van persie certainly would have improved our chances, although him out for five months is the worst possible injury blow we could have had, our most clinical finisher, i hope eduardo can fucking step up, hes been lacking form recently. If not, well have to wait on bendtner and hope fabregas arshavin and nasri can cope.

I watched this game on TV and it was painful!
I had to agree with the commentator – we play pretty football and the passing is exquisite but that doesn’t necessarily transfer into goals and victory. I can’t recall the number of times i jumped off the couch and shouted, JUST FUCKING SHOOT!
The young GUNS gotta step up and show that we are not useless just ’cause RVP is out.

Hey guys, as much as I keep thinking OK maybe Wenger has got it right, we STILL need a 3-4 good, strong, well-proved players: strikers-at least two, one midfiled and one defense. Some players that have already been developed and not f..king kids that need 4 years to grow up and then not give the end product. I have said it 2-3 seasons ago, Wenger needs to go. We need big time change, hell, I would go fo a crappy play and 1:0 if it means trophies. I fear this pattern might go for years, we have become a 3rd, 4th place or semi-finals team. Never going the full lenght, 100%…..still hurting from yesterday

Wenger is done, after taking Ian Wright he has proven nothing better than a french lover, i want a old skool manager, that players men not kids. Fab is 21/22 and his captain and one of the oldest in the team that says it all. Chelsea are crap cannot win shizzle over the years this has been proven. But all my Gunners beleive me when i say Wenger MUST GO!

After tallying the highest goals scored in the premier league, having a fucking great start to the season, and seeing some fucking fantastic attacking football from the team, Half of you are wiliing to write arsenal off completely because they lost one game against a team that was on top form, and on top of the league.
Fuck the fucking doubters, every time we get a bad result. All fucking teams lose, and are more likely to do so if its against a big team. Hope is all we have as supporters, we arnt on that pitch, if you give hope up than whats the fucking point in watching?Whats the point in supporting the team? Wenger will go whenever he damn well wants to, hes earned that much.

A bad result??!! Oh, by your standards we need to be beaten AT HOME 5-6:0 to be a bad result?? I would LOOOOVE to be proven wrong but just promise to be around come end of season and NO trophies. How many years (decades)are needed for the ‘kids’ to grow up and show their potential? We have already started some of the previous seasons better and have led the league by New Year and then slumped, zero acchievements. A big time change in the philosophy of team management is needed.

What a long time it’s been since this game, and a great bit of turnaround in form as well for both teams. There’s still a long way to go before anything is decided, but if there’s anything to be learnt from this game and the season as whole, it’s that you’re only as good as your last game. May the most consistent team win in the most open title challenge in while yet!
