Arsenal v Portsmouth Preview
Arsene Wenger has no new injury problems as Arsenal look to continue their fine start to the Premier League 2009/2010 season. The Gunners followed up last weekend’s 6-1 demolition of Everton with a 2-0 win at Celtic and will be looking to keep up with London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, who have also made impressive starts.
With one foot already in the Champions League group stage and no real need to rest players, Wenger is likely to field the same starting XI for a third consecutive match. That would mean no place for Eduardo, however the Croatian is fit enough to start on the bench, despite missing the Celtic match with a groin strain.
Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky, Samir Nasri and Johan Djourou all remain sidelined by injury.
Arsenal have not lost to Portsmouth since 1958 and with the visitors experiencing major problems on and off the pitch, Arsene Wenger’s side will be expected to extend that run.
Portsmouth have been the subject of a bungled takeover by Arab businessman Sulaiman Al Fahim, which has led to a whole host of players leaving the club. As a result they have been made one of the favourites for the drop and two defeats from their opening two games seems to have justified the bookmakers’ decision.
The south coast side also have a number of first team players missing, with Steve Finnan, Hermann Hreidarsson and Papa Bouba Diop all left out of the squad due to hamstring injuries.
Arsenal squad to face Portsmouth: Almunia, Sagna, Vermaelen, Gallas, Clichy, Song, Fabregas, Denilson, Arshavin, Bendtner, Van Persie, Mannone, Eduardo, Eboue, Ramsey, Wilshere, Gibbs, Silvestre.

some truly interesting info , well written and broadly user genial .
The man makes way too much sense. Obviously he will be villified and cast asside by the democratic plantation owners and those that depend on government handouts as opposed to actually earning a living.
