Arsenal vs Newcastle MOTD Highlights and Goals 3-1

Good win today. I don’t think Martins’ penalty was that bad, Almunia stretched nicely and guessed right to make the save. This looked like it was going to end up 3-1 from the beginning, RVP missed two first half chances which would’ve blown this match wide open. The more I watch Arhsavin the more I love his game, he’s got the toughness of Flamini and the speed of Clichy, very gritty player that adds a lot to the mix. Too bad he’s cup-tied for the Champions League. The pressure’s on Aston Villa to beat Liverpool now. Man Utd and Chelsea have already lost today. Here’s the Match Report. Arsene Wenger’s very happy in his post-match interview and says that Theo Walcott could be back in 10-12 days and that Adebayor and Fabregas are “not far”. Rosicky though, is very far.
Before we get to the goals and the Almunia save, check out the MOTD Highlights which contains Taylor’s cheap-shot on Arhsavin:

This was a strange game. We showed our class in pockets of the game as oppossed to being on top of newcastle for a sustained period of time…oh well…happy to get the 3 points. I missed the directness of walcott today.

superb job man … most of time i had to content with live text commentary at eurosport.com but i m pretty much convinced you are providing video highlight faster than any other sites … and also you had extensive knowledge of the game and arsenal i do like reading your articles too.

Great work arsenalist, excellent game for both sides in the first half and was glad to see the arsenal get the win, I think we’re finally picking up some momentum now and at the perfect time of the season too

quality game for the gunners definitely.I heard that the walcott injury is not that bad so that is also some good news. This result is good not only for our premiere league but for the FA cup and Champions league. Because the way how i see it this is giving us a big boost in confidence and Chelsea and Man utd losing today is a big loss for them in confidence. The gunners will need to keep there composure during these vital parts of the season and i am sure Arsene Wenger will be preaching that in the Arsenal camp.

wouldn’t you agree?

Arsenal are really gr8
but there is a trend to get the goals in the second half, i dunno why? most of the time the fans spend the first half under stress because the goals mostly come in the second half

Brilliant game, Man-U and chelsea losing, just gets better for us. 55 points on the table, 3 points ahead of Aston V., and Aston V. playing Liverpool, they wont catch us up.

Great win yesterday.
Currently watching Aston Villa getting thrashed by Liverpool.
All the better for us!

Oops, pressed the sponsor 13 times. Heheh. Fantastic win. I thought we’d take a draw, one of those frustrating ones, but apparently not. I thought Diaby’s goal did resemble old PV4. Well, 3 points off AV. If we can beat Citeh ( I’m going 2-0, van persie and bendtner ) and manure take Villa by the scruff, we should be 6 points up.
Cheers! Stayed at the pub for at least 9 hours the night before. Cheap martini not as satisfying as i thought.
