Great win for the Gunners, hopefully this can spark us in the league. Great to see Eduardo back and healthy, he’s a clinical finisher and we could use him in the league. No more scoreless ties!

Great football tonight. I think Eddie and Nick should start some more games this season, Eddie is just the type of player Nick needs to link up with. Also glad Bendtner let everyone know that him saying he thought he was the best striker was bullshit.

Linky, linky; clicky, clicky. Nice work as ever, Arsenalist.
I felt the whole team benefited from Dudu’s return; there was a belief about us which has been missing for a while now. Agree that Vela was impressive, then Dudu nearly got a hat-trick and yes, even Bendtner looked up for it (despite his incredible miss/es).
As an aside, I would be interested in people’s impressions of Gibbs at LB. Whilst he seemed young and got caught a few times at the byeline, I felt he did well.

Can you post links to DL the goal videos? I always make an Arsenal video after each season and rely on your site to DL every goal? Or maybe you can send the videos to me? daniel.szumla@gmail.com

Superb game last night, Cardiff were chasing shadows all night! was effectively over as a contest after the second goal, we could have scored 6 or 7 goals.
Great to see the Crozillian back, how we’ve missed the little guy!with Walcott and Ade, and hopefully at some point Rosicky to come back, and Arshavin to come also, I feel we can push on from here, we’ve got what looks like a reasonable path to Wembley, yes, we have a few difficult games to come in the Premiership, but any of our opponents whom were watching last night might be having second thoughts now if they thought it was going to be a good time top play us.
I feel a bit more confident about the Roma game after this I must say, we just need to build on this result now, everyone get behind the team on the run in, come on you Gooners!!!!!!!

Yes, I think Gibbs did very well. It’s amazingly how much like Clichy he is physically and how he plays. He seems incredibly composed for such a young player. He limits his bad passes and does not get the ball taken from him. Sure, he is out of position a few times on defense, but every defender is. At this point I think he is about the equal of Clichy in Clichy’s form of this year.
Bendtner also looked lively and was very active. Had a strong first touch and made some good decisions. He was playing with a lot of confidence and had a great chipped cross to RVP on the back post. Sure he missed on the one point blank shot, but had some other good chances that went just wide (header) and the keeper stopped.
Liked the interplay between Vela, Nasri, Dudu and Bendtner. All four were inventive and creative.
Kind of funny to me though how Vela will never use his right foot to dribble or pass the ball. You’d think that at this level the would be able to do much more with the weak foot (like RVP and Nasri).
