Arsenal vs Chelsea MOTD Highlights & Goals: 2-1 RVP brace!!

Posted by Arsenalist on November 30th, 2008

Own goal, do you believe it? The bulk of the fault here is with the uber-excited Almunia who loves distributing the ball so much that he doesn’t care who he’s distributing to anymore. Poor decision by a veteran player, especially if you consider how inexperienced the left side of the back-four are. Other than this he’s had a good game so far.

Arsene Wenger Interview :: Phil Scolari Interview (this guy’s a door knob)

Great win by the Gunners. We’ve now beaten Man Utd and Chelsea and lost to Stoke and Hull. Nothing about that makes any sense. I thought we dominated this game, they only had one shot on goal whereas we had more possession, better movement and more chances. Denilson should’ve made it 3-1 late on after being found by Bendtner but decided to dribble for no reason instead of one-timing it.

Time to celebrate. We’re back in the Top Four!

it was a clear offfside, but who cares!

good needed win for the gunners. almunia need to relax a bit, wtf with the double-punching clearance earlier in the game..

What a win! At Stamford Bridge in fact! We didn’t look the best but we still won. I’ll take that over looking great and losing!

  9. Simba Says:

Nearly turned the game off at halftime as it was so depressing to see us throwing the season away, but they came out like a team reborn! The defence was exceptional (Djourou was good buut i think Sagna is so key to our performances and he was solid). Nasri looked a new player and Alex Song was getting good challenges in. Lets hope that was as much down to Wenger’s halftime talk as Fabregas’ leadership because if it was we have a great Captain in the making.

that win has totally restored my faith in arsenal. i have to admit that before the match i didn’t think we would win, but we matched chelsea in the tackling and defense and we were much better than them in our passing and our attack. come on you goooooners!

  11. solon Says:

denilson still not arsenal quality..how many times he had lost the ball and he should kill the game earlier with 3-1..lucky but we deserved to win..go gunnerss!!almunia?pls be more calm…dont ruined our beautiful game with your clumsy, naive performance that can cause another set back..win the league?already with 5 defeats in 15 games?hmmm..another 23 games without defeat then only you can say so..wenger?pls add an experienced in the holding midfield….arsenal, pls win something this year :( even carling cup will do..wigan next

wooo!!!What a fantastic won! so poor i cant enjoy the match, now finding for the highlight…even cant watch how Van equalised. anyway…ARSENAL ROCKKKKKK!!!!

  13. ForeverArsenal Says:

One more thing is…dun blame Djourou..just an accident, he had try his best. Besides, he is strong in controling his emotion. see he wake up quickly to back to the game even though after he had OWN GOAL. So, this is the player we want..
