Arsenal vs. Newcastle Highlights: Gunners 4 points clear instead of 6

Newcastle 1, Arsenal 1
I didn’t watch this game due to a horribly scheduled meeting at work. Very disappointing to see the Gunners not take an opportunity to go up by 6 points in the league, but 4 isn’t that bad really. According to the Soccernet report, it sounds like it was a pretty hard fought game. Check out the FootyTube videos before they’re taken down for copyright infringement.

Although Adebayor scored a goal, he messed up too many chances in the game. We could have finished the job up in the first half.

We are lucky that the defensive mistake, the foul and the handball by Sagna all came in one Newcastle goal. They could have just as easily resulted in a goal and 2 penalties. At least we know it takes 3 Arsenal mistakes to gift Newcastle a goal. Other teams won’t be as forgiving.

its disappointing to hav the lead and then concede a goal.
1st half is quite good, but 2nd half was quite the opposite.
we really need hleb and fabregas matches like this!!

It sure sounds like we missed RVP and his finishing skill. Judging by the comments it looks like Adebayor’s chance-to-goal ratio was pretty high.

Twice (against aston villa and today) we have taken the lead and let teams get back into the game. At aston villa we weren’t punished but today we were. I hope this does not become a common trend. Anyways we are 4 points clear. Good enough for me.

OK!…….is my final verdict for our gunners for thier perfromance against Newcastle. Ofcourse, we deserved to win but without 5 regular starters and players who have made the pole poistion possible, the result can be accepted finally….I wud love to see Eduardo gettin more chances….

We were down on Villa and rallied 2 to win. Still, we have played like s&#@ since the 46th minute of the Villa game. Diarra is a disappointment so far, I want Denilson.

adebayor is of no use.i want better striker.we dont want that sort of striker who will score one and miss several chances.we want that sort of striker who will get two chances and fulfil them all.we want better option.i would love to see eduardo in the 1st line-up
