Almunia has been OK so far because he hasn’t had much to do. This was a bad game for him and he’s lucky that he didn’t concede. Every goalie makes mental mistakes and that’s what Alumnia did today, but Lehmann is still the better goalie.

almunia has more than enough time to wait for the ball n catch it, n he has few defenders around him to secure the process, but insisted to head the ball….

huhu, soapstar, watch it again on the French highlights. First, a fantastic lob from that distance. Second, Almunia was there, he was called off by Toure. Not brilliant play, but it wasn’t going in. You make it sound like Jens never makes mental errors.
