I can't say I'm too convinced with Wenger's post-match remarks about showing more spirit than last year either. I see too many likenesses with last season for comfort, not least falling behind at home-again. Not to be all gloomy though. After all it was only day one and after Lehmann's disaster we faced a team playing the familiar tactic of break up play, sit deep and waste time that we find it so difficult to overcome. Rossicky's shooting is a relief, we need someone to shoot from those position and at least put a bit of pressure on a defence not willing to venture beyond the penalty area. I don't know how many people have been attacking hleb on this site but I feel I should lend some support. He may look chaotic on the ball but he always produces..and now he's scoring. I was looking forward to seeing Eduardo play but I guess he's still slightly injured. Anyway, 4-5-1 didn't work quite well, and I didn't see much of Gallas or Toure come close to the goal during corners. 3 points is 3 points nontheless.
