I am a naturalized US citizen, originally from Turkey, and do not ever remember thinking if I am white or not. It is an un-needed concept-except for the census bureau!! Then, again, one has to consider the actual meaning of the words we use. That is the ultimate education goal. It is nice to be proud of your heritage, history, and culture, but you really have to use that information wisely. It is not out there to promote race, creed, religion or superiority of one person/nation/religion over the other. It is nice that finally "Khandor" brought some much needed light into the original question. Responses following that by "raptors will rise", and "Lame duck" appears to have the whole thing moving in a more positive direction.
