Great book, great post. My personal favorite is Crime and Punishment.

I agree with Raps Fan, we need a scoring three who can create his own shot. Garbaojsa and Graham can’t do that and I doubt Graham is part of the Raptors long term future. Lewis would be a great fit for this team.

shahid, i actually think we need a solid three who can shoot, penetrate and rebound. mopete is gone, garbajosa is coming off a serious injury, and joey graham….sucks. grant hill would be a nice addition, id rather have rashard lewis, gerald wallace or desmond mason…younger and healthier – but more expensive.

Don’t worry. You guys don’t even have problems compared to us. Our star player has yet again littered the local media with talks of a trade. He did this last year. I’m really getting fed up with his attitude. Yeah, he averaged over 30 points a game this season. Sure he has had a sickening number of 50+ point games. But quite frankly, none of that junk has helped our team. Who is he? Yep, the great Kobe Bryant. He is an awesome player and probably the most talented player of our age, but he’s not helping us win rings. End of story. So do I want him traded? I’m not sure yet. But believe me, we may have a better team without him.

grant hill is not what the raptors need, even though he is a great citizen off the court and might have a year or two left playing at a reasonable level. the raps are deepest at the small forward postion with garbajosa, mo pete, graham.
blame bad timing (luck). the raps got the number pick a year too soon. bargnani had a decent rookie season, the comparisons are to nowitzki, but can he reach that level? next year will determine, i predict he has similar stats with a slight improvement across the boards. but i dont see him consistently putting up 20 + points a season. maybe in the 14 – 15 range.

oh man the trail blazers are going to be good.
