aww Fabregas got an OG, but he's still awesome.

It's good that after 3 games, arsenal is back in the winning business.

Losing Henry is a hard blow but we've got 2, maybe 3 players that when combined rival him in skill and pace. I guess all we can do is hope that he heals quickly, like 2-3 days just in time for the PSV game (almost impossible, but he returned earlier than the set date, namely against Charlton rather than the FA game against Liverpool.)

as for Walcott and Baptista, I give them mad props for playing with everything they have.

Brazilians scored for Arsenal =D

Scoring a goal against Reading isn't anything to celebrate too hard about and it doesn't mean he's not going to waste his next 10 chances. The defender did do a poor job of covering him, he had Baptista covered fine until he decided to take a chance and go for the ball. If he would've just kept pace with Baptista, Baptista would've screwed up.

Give some credit to The Beast for pushing the team through, even though he wasted about three other good chances in the game. Unless he goes of on a blistering run to end of this season or does really well in the Champions League, Arsene should not keep him on.

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally stoked that we won! Its a great thing! I was saying that we shouldn't be too encouraged that baptista had scored a goal. We shouldn't think he's suddenly back to playing well. Since, as arsenalist said, the reading defenders did a poor job of defending him on that play.

Yeah I guess we shouldn't be too encouraged by baptista's goal since it was only Reading. I just wish arsene would field a better team each time. Yes, we have injuries and all, but isn't that why he's getting paid the big bucks? Its sad when a fan on a blog can pick a better team than the coach. Did Lehman get hurt or suspended or what? Why was he out the last game?

Yeah, decent lineup today. Walcott playing more central really suits him, if he was able to control the ball a little better today, he might've had one.

As for Baptista, you can tell even on the goal he scored that he had trouble deciding on what to do. But the defender did a pretty piss-poor job of closing him out and made the contest about strenth, which Baptista has plenty.
